Capítulo 24: Duke Arganus III

As we entered the town, passing through the grand gate with stone walls towering seven meters high like the skyscrapers on Earth, the walls were solid and majestic, adorned with flags fluttering atop them, adding to the impression of strength and invincibility.

Mrs. Nakamura drove the car on a road made of large, neatly arranged stones. Gentle vibrations could be felt inside the vehicle as the tires touched the stone surface. We moved slowly, and along the road, townspeople gathered, their eyes wide with curiosity.

People whispered in astonishment and fear, watching the iron vehicle moving without horses.

"What strange thing is this?" asked an old man with furrowed brows, gripping his cane.

"How can this iron carriage move without horses pulling it?" added a young woman, holding the hand of her child who also watched with wide eyes.
