Moments later, the smallest chakra source disappeared, and the remaining two began to close in.

The powerful explosions, which would have hit us hard in another situation, were significantly weakened due to the katon chakra used, and the pair of enemy shinobi were unable to do much more — our taijutsu specialists simply didn't give them a chance. I waved Rōtarō towards our teammate and followed the commander, figuring that the three of them would manage the jounins.
Watching the lightning-fast exchanges of blows between the Byakugan user and the inconspicuous man in a bandana, dressed in the characteristic high-rank shinobi attire from Iwagakure, I found myself enjoying the smooth and mesmerizing movements of the soft style.
Even against an opponent armed with two knives, Hyuga's superiority in skill was evident. However, his opponent understood that if the Byakugan user got too close, the fight would be lost after a few hits getting through his defense. Moreover, the enemy jounin had to keep an eye on me as well, which the commander was clearly trying to exploit.
