"..." Yun Wuji's left cheek twitched as he fixed his gaze on the short, bald man. A mix of disbelief and disgust appeared on his face. Why is there always a guy like this in every group of bad guys?
'I'll grind his bones and mince his meat later,' Yun Wuji thought. Thankfully for this guy, Yun Wuji wasn't as extreme as he used to be. Otherwise, he would have shown him just how close dogs could be to humans. Instead, he'd settle for reducing him to a lump of flesh.
'Sigh, I've grown softer these past few years. Who made me be such a nice guy?' Yun Wuji thought hypocritically. Putting on a terrified expression, he stumbled back a few steps, waving both hands frantically as he shouted, "Lords! Lords! Please spare my life! I'll give you everything I have!"
"Hehe, I thought with his dashing looks, he'd at least have some guts, but he's just a spineless coward!" one of them sneered, pointing at Yun Wuji and laughing contemptuously.
"Hahaha! What do you expect a lowly Sovereign Profound Realm cultivator to do? Fight back?" another one laughed loudly, joining in.
"Brat, don't worry. If you serve Daddy, I'll spare your life. Puahahaha!" The short baldy, eyed Yun Wuji's lower body greedily, his voice filled with an obscene laugh.
"Pah! Gutless coward!" The bloodied man spat in disdain upon seeing Yun Wuji's performance. He then glared at the bandits with a fierce expression, "Come at me! Daddy will take at least one of you down with him!"
"Bastard!"
"You're half a step from the grave, and you still dare to utter such words!"
"That's right! Daddy here will kill you!"
His words infuriated the bandits, but despite all their fierce threats, none of them actually took a step forward.
They were all despicable lowlifes, too afraid for their lives. How could they possibly charge in mindlessly and die? That would be too stupid, even for idiots like them.
All the wealth and women they had accumulated would be taken 'care off' by their "comrades"!
Their boss looked at them, his eyebrows twitching in frustration. With a disdainful glare, he scolded, "Useless bunch! Step aside, I'll finish him myself!"
"Boss is making a move!"
"Boss is mighty!"
"Bastard, with the boss making a move, you're dead meat!"
The bloodied man's expression turned grim. He clenched his sword and bent slightly. His cultivation was lower than the boss's, and even if he were in full health, he knew he stood no chance of beating him.
Most of his injuries had also been inflicted by this guy. Every time he was about to deliver a fatal blow to one of the bandits, this bastard would always strike him first.
"..." While keeping a terrified expression, Yun Wuji closely observed their movements, all while circulating his profound energy.
The boss casually held his saber and stomped the ground with a loud boom, launching himself toward the man. With a powerful swing, he slashed downward with his sword.
The man gripped his sword with both hands, blocking the attack. His legs bent from the force as the collision sent a powerful shockwave erupting from their clash, pushing the surrounding bandits back a few steps.
Yun Wuji, still maintaining his act, was thrown backward, tumbling a few dozen meters away.
The dead bodies were sent flying like ragdolls, tumbling through the air. The man glanced at them from the corner of his eye, and a flash of pain crossed his face.
"You are good! But unfortunately, the gap between realms is not something anyone can cross!" The boss nodded at the man, then grinned before slashing with his saber again.
The man reacted quickly, blocking the saber attack with his sword, resulting in another shockwave! The blow rocked the ground beneath them, sending vibrations through the air.
"Ora! Ora! Ora! Block it again! How long can you keep blocking, hahaha! Ora! Ora! Ora!" The boss continued to attack furiously, his laughter booming as each strike came faster and harder.
"..." Yun Wuji observed them closely, his body trembling and his expression filled with fear. Anyone who saw him would think he was just a weak, good-looking gigolo.
At this moment, the bloodied man finally couldn't hold on any longer. The boss's saber was about to pierce his chest.
Rumbling Heaven!
Boom!
Suddenly, Yun Wuji's expression turned cold. Blood-red light erupted from him as he opened the gates of his heretic god's veins. Almost instantly, he appeared behind the bandit boss!
"What?!!" The boss had just stabbed the bloodied man in the heart with his saber when suddenly a blood-red hand pierced through his back, emerging from his chest.
"Ah... ahh... you... you!" He slowly lowered his head and saw the hand holding his still-beating heart.
Yun Wuji clenched his hand, crushing the heart into pieces.
Smack!
Casually, he pulled his hand from the bandit's chest and backhanded him, sending the boss flying and smashing into the short baldy.
"Argh!" The bald guy let out a blood-curdling cry as his bones cracked from the impact.
"Boss!!!"
"What...what happened?!"
"How could this be?!"
"The boss is down! We are fucked!"
The other bandits' eyeballs bulged, nearly popping out of their eyes. They were just about to cheer for their boss for taking down that poor guy when suddenly that pretty boy appeared behind their boss, penetrated him, and then clapped his cheek...cough, I mean, smacked his cheek!
At the same time, the bloodied man held the saber piercing his heart. He didn't feel pain, only confusion. He looked at Yun Wuji and said with difficulty, "You..."
"You can rest in peace. I'll take revenge for you and give you a proper burial," Yun Wuji said in a low voice.
"Th-thank...you..." The man muttered his last words and closed his eyes. His body collapsed to the ground, dead.
Yun Wuji looked at the dead man and shook his head. This was the sorrow of the weak, no matter how much they avoided trouble or refrained from competing with anyone, trouble would still come to find them.
He deactivated the Rumbling Heaven gate; the current him couldn't hold it for more than fifteen breaths.
That boss was at the 8th level of the Divine Origin Realm, while he was at the 8th level of the Sovereign Profound Realm. If he were to fight him fairly, it would take some effort to kill him, and with the addition of the other bandits, he might even end up being defeated.
Yun Wuji tapped the ground lightly and appeared among the panicked bandits. He slapped one of them with such force that it tore his head from his neck, sending it flying.
The bandit's neck erupted into a fountain of blood before he collapsed to his knees and then fell to the ground.
"Run! Agh!"
"Spare me! Spare me! Agh!"
Amidst the cries of the bandits, Yun Wuji moved through them swiftly, like a wolf among a pack of sheep, ripping their heads from their bodies with brutal slaps.
Finally, after Yun Wuji stopped, only the short baldy remained standing.
The short baldy glanced at his headless comrades and stumbled back until he fell to the ground, begging for mercy. "Lord! Please spare me! I didn't mean to offend you, please spare me, my lord!"
"Do you know why I spared your life?" Yun Wuji squatted down and said with a harmless smile.
"Why?" The short man asked, his voice shaky.
"Because if I killed you, who would pay the protection fees?" Yun Wuji maintained his harmless smile and spoke slowly.
"Protection fees? Protecting us from whom?" The man felt completely lost trying to keep up with this terrifying guy and asked in bewilderment.
Smack!
"Are you dumb? Of course, it's to protect you from me!" Yun Wuji's smile dropped as he slapped the man across the face, sending him rolling across the ground for hundreds of meters.
"Agh!!!" The short man let out a loud cry of pain. After a few moments, he got up, crawling toward Yun Wuji, too scared to stand. With a smile that looked uglier than crying, half of his face red and deformed from the slap, his whole body covered in dirt and blood, he said, "Thank you for the slap, I understand now! Right, we need to pay you for your hard-working protection!"
"Good! I like smart people!" Yun Wuji nodded in approval, then ordered, "Now go and collect all the good things these trash have."
"Yes! Yes! Right away, my lord!" The short man quickly nodded, his head bobbing like a chick pecking, before rushing off to search through the mangled bodies of his comrades. He forcefully opened their pockets and took out any valuables or resources they had.
Once he finished with his comrades, he ran toward the family they had ambushed, quickly searching through their bodies as well.
"This is all they had, my lord! I have sinned towards you as well! Please accept this as a token of my forgiveness!" The short man placed everything he had collected in front of Yun Wuji, then, with an ugly smile, he took out all his accumulated wealth and presented it to him, hoping to buy his mercy.
"Hmm, tell me the name of this realm," Yun Wuji nodded after storing everything and asked.
"Name?" The short man was startled. Why is this scary guy asking for the name of the realm? But when he saw Yun Wuji frown, he quickly answered, "The name of this realm is the Azure Cloud Realm! We're in the south of the Azure Cloud Realm! The largest city in this area is Azure Grove City!"
"Tell me everything you know about this realm," Yun Wuji listened to him and then ordered again.
"Yes, my lord!" The short man quickly nodded, eager to please. He answered all Yun Wuji's questions without hesitation, even revealing all the small secrets he knew. He desperately tried to display his value in hopes that this terrifying figure would spare his life.
After more than an hour of questioning, Yun Wuji understood his situation. He was in a Low-rank realm called the Azure Cloud Realm, located on the far eastern side of the Eastern Divine Region. He was quite far from the Snow Song Realm, but what surprised him was the name of the realm. "The first place I stepped on in the Blue Pole Realm is the Azure Cloud Continent, and the first place I stepped on in the God Realm is the Azure Cloud Realm! Interesting!"
'Coincidence? I think NOT!'

"Maybe it's really just a coincidence. It can't possibly be because the author was too lazy to come up with a name for a realm, right?" Yun Wuji muttered aloud, shaking his head.
"...My lord?" The bald guy cautiously lifted his head, his voice trembling as he spoke.
"Ah, right, you're still here," Yun Wuji said, snapping out of his thoughts casually. "I originally planned to grind your bones and mince your flesh, but since you were useful, I'll only crush your body to pieces."
As he spoke, a gentle smile spread across his face, his expression making it seem as though he was offering a great concession.
"My... my lord... what... what about the protection fees?!" The short guy's face turned pale in an instant, his voice trembling as he stammered out the words.
"Sorry, but you are just too poor. What you paid isn't enough to protect you from me," Yun Wuji said with a casual shrug, raising his hand and pointing at the trembling man.
"My lord, wai...aghr!!" The bald man tried to plead, but before he could finish, a powerful force from Yun Wuji's hand descended, crushing his entire body into oblivion.
After killing him, Yun Wuji used fire to burn everything to ashes. He then took some time to bury the unfortunate family, marking their resting place with a small mound of stones before turning and leaving without looking back.
...
Over a month later, the Devil body left the Snow Song Realm and entered the Northern Divine Region, "It seems that as long as I am careful, nothing will happen," muttered Yun Wuji.
The Snow Song Realm is the closest to the Northern Divine Region in the Eastern Divine Region. Most 'devil' people trying to escape the Northern Divine Region pass through it, only to be hunted down by the Snow Song Realm's people.
During his journey to the Northern Divine Region, he didn't encounter any unexpected situations or crises. While this was largely due to his Divine King Realm cultivation, it also showed that the God Realm was safe enough for him to travel with his main body.
Flying through the dark Northern Divine Region, feeling the thick darkness that could cripple most cultivators in the three Divine Regions, Yun Wuji took a deep breath and said, "How comfortable!"
...
While exploring the God Realm with his two bodies, Yun Wuji entered the Golden Crow Lightning Flame Valley on the Blue Pole Star to meet the Golden Crow for the last time.
"Yun Wuji, what brought you here this time?" As Yun Wuji stepped into the Golden Crow's Holy Land, a pair of slender golden eyes appeared, locking onto him, followed by the voice of the Golden Crow.
"Hey, pretty eyes, miss me?" Yun Wuji waved his right hand casually, a smirk on his face.
"..." The Golden Crow remained silent for a moment before responding, "Speak. What do you want from this noble one?"
"How boring, you've changed. You used to be quite feisty and lively, now you sound just like the phoenix," Yun Wuji shook his head in disappointment, and then his expression turned solemn. "I came today because I want to bid you farewell. I'm leaving for the God Realm."
"So the time has come... That was to be expected. You've been stuck at the 4th level of the Divine Origin Realm for a while. If you stay on this plane, your cultivation will stagnate," the Golden Crow said. She seemed a bit surprised but approved of his decision. She had wanted him to leave long ago; staying here would only waste his talent.
After that, she added, "The other Golden Crow's spirit is already waiting for you at the God-Burying Inferno Prison. If you have the opportunity, make sure to meet her."
"Thanks for that," Yun Wuji nodded and turned to leave. However, he suddenly stopped and said, "I really don't want this to be our last meeting. The daughter of the Vermillion Bird is still alive and well; her strength has perhaps even matched that of her father. One day, she may return to the primal chaos, and the fire of the Vermillion Flame will once again shine in this world."
"..." The golden crow's eyes twitched when she heard Yun Wuji's words, but she didn't respond.
Yun Wuji shook his head with a helpless look and said, "Do you really want everyone to forget about your golden flame?" Without waiting for her to answer, he turned and left.
"..." With his departure, only the slender golden eyes remained in the Golden Crow's Holy Land. After a long silence, she whispered, "Maybe it's not the right choice."
...
In the Frozen Cloud Palace, all the disciples were gathered in the main hall, their faces filled with sadness and anxiety as they looked at Yun Wuji.
Surrounding him were his wives and women, each with a range of emotions displayed on their faces.
"Husband, you're going to a faraway place. You need to be careful," Chu Yuechan said, gently holding his right hand.
"..."
The other women looked at him in silence, their eyes reflecting the same emotions.
Although Yun Wuji had told them he would leave the Blue Pole Star long ago, they were still reluctant to part with him.
"Don't act like I'm leaving forever; at most, I'll return in a year," Yun Wuji smiled helplessly and added with a chuckle, "One year is a very short time for us, it's not even the length of a secluded cultivation session."
"It's short, but I can't bear to be apart from you for so long," Cang Yue said, clenching her thighs with a flushed face.
'Hopeless pervert,' all the women looked at her speechlessly. But they all shared the same feelings as her, waking up in the morning without having him inside them would make them feel too empty.
Yun Wuji laughed and patted her plump butt, then pointed at a small orb suspended at the end of the hall and said, "I've already left this soul orb, so we can stay in contact all the time. We can chat whenever you want."
This orb was created from a part of his soul, allowing it to be used to contact him no matter where he was, except when he was in certain Secret Realms or the God Realm of Absolute Beginning.
The price for making it was also very high, severing a part of his soul to create it, and it took him many months to recover.
But it was a small price to pay, to still see and hear his beloved's voice, even when he was far away.
This time, as he left for the God Realm, Yun Wuji wasn't planning on taking his women with him, even though he had the Primordial Profound Ark, which contained a separate world.
Because his women weren't like Pokémon that he could just casually take with him whenever he wished, they all had their own lives and goals. For instance, Huan Caiyi was doing her best to govern her realm, as it was her pride and responsibility, the glory her clan had left her.
Even if Yun Wuji were to offer her a High-Rank Star Realm, she wouldn't leave her Empire for it.
The same was true for his other women; they all had their own lives. The only one willing to leave was Xia Qingyue, but she wouldn't go right now either, as she and Yun Wuji already had plans in place.
His women weren't trophies or items that he could take with him whenever he pleased, disregarding their wishes. They were individuals with their own wills, desires, and goals.
While it was true that they loved him and wanted to always be by his side, they too had their own lives to live.
Not to mention, he still hadn't established a solid foothold in the God Realm. Why would he risk their lives just to selfishly take them with him?
And most importantly, it's not like he was going to leave for long. Once he got things on track, he would return, and maybe, just maybe, he could build a teleportation formation to connect the God Realm with this place.
"You girls should stop worrying him so much," Feng Qianhui stepped forward and spoke to the women, before turning to Yun Wuji and saying, "You should leave early to return early."
"Hmm," Yun Wuji paused for a moment before nodding hesitantly. He looked at his women one last time, then turned around and flew away.
"Goodbye, husband!"
"Return safely, Lord Yun!"
Behind him, the voices of his women and the disciples of the sect echoed in the distance. Yun Wuji resisted the urge to turn around and increased his speed, leaving them behind.
Leaving the Blue Pole Star, Yun Wuji glanced back at the beautiful blue planet where he had spent so much of his life.
He then turned and flew north, retracing the same path his Devil Body had taken. His destination, naturally, was the Snow Song Realm.
