Chapter 14: Obstacle Race
Kazuki walked inside the classroom followed by Ojiro. He held his bag with one hand and stood in front of Shinso. "Is that a declaration of war?" He asked.
"Yes, it is," Shinso replied.
"Hmm. Name's Kazuki Uchiku. You what's your name?" Kazuki asked not moving his eyes from him.
"Hitoshi Shinso." He replied.
"Well then Shinso, you better watch your steps. Thanks for your declaration of war." Kazuki chuckled. A wide smile spread on his face. "It makes my blood boil seeing how bold you are."
'He's bold as well!' Everyone said in their thoughts.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" A guy with silver hair shouted. "I'm from Class B next door! I heard you fought against villains so I came to hear bout it! Don't get so full of yourselves!"
'Another bold person appeared!' Everyone said in their thoughts.
Bakugo walked back inside the room while Kazuki glanced at them.
"Move." He said his tone cold as ice. "Leave our classroom alone, return to your class, and don't bother us. If not." Kazuki snapped his fingers, and wind pressure formed in his fingertips. "I'll blow you away."
"K-Kazuki! That is against the school rules!" Iida shouted his hand frantically moving.
"Don't care, whether these guys move, or I'll force them," Kazuki said his eyes staring intently. "I don't care if these guys hate me, It doesn't matter. I'll beat you all to a pulp."
Hearing the provocation, one by one the students dispersed.
After that confrontation. Two weeks passed, and the sports festival began!
"Let's go!" Furui shouted aloud.
"Dad, stop shouting!" Hinata was at the age where she started thinking of other people's views. "Dad it's embarrassing! And take off that top!"
"What?! No! I'll wear this top!" Furui wore a T-shirt with Kazuki's face imprinted on it.
"Dad!" Hinata had already awakened her quirk. Her quirk was the same as Furui's. Her eyes bloodshot leaving Furui with no choice but to change his shirt.
"Oh, I'm too old for this." Yuka slapped Saburo's hand. "Don't eat too much sweets, old man!"
"Yes.." Saburo followed his wife as the family entered the arena. They found their seats and sat excitedly waiting for the festival to start.
"My blood is boiling in excitement!" Furui said.
While Akane smiled in response.
In the waiting room.
"Everyone are you ready?" Iida asked opening the door. "We will be entering soon!"
Kazuki sat in the corner.
He glanced at Shoto who said his provocation to Midoriya.
"Just get it over with and let's go." Kazuki stood up and walked outside the waiting room. "You're wasting your time, there are thousands of spectators waiting for our arrival."
The others nodded and followed.
As they walked out of the tunnel and entered the arena.
"The UA sports festival!" Present Mic Shouted. "The huge battle where the fledgling heroes sharpen their swords once a year! Anyway, these are the guys! The miraculous new stars who overcame enemy attacks with their hearts of steel!"
"Hero Course! Class 1-A!"
The crowd cheered in response.
"Oh, these he is!" Hinata pointed at Kazuki who was walking with the others.
"Oh! Kazuki!" Furui shouted.
"Hero Course Class 1-B!"
"Next up, General Studies Classes C, D, and E!"
"Support Course, Classes F, G, and H!"
"And Business Course! Classes I, J, and K!"
"All of UA's first year's are here!" Present Mic shouted hyping the crowd.
"Time for the player pledge!" Midnight shouted.
"What is Ms. Midnight wearing?" Kirishima asked his face blushing.
"That's an R-rated Hero for you," Kaminari replied, his face flushed red as well.
"Is it okay for her to be at school even though she's R-rated?" Tokoyami asked.
"Quiet everyone!" Midnight shouted. "Representing the students is Kazuki Uchiku from Class 1-A!"
Kazuki walked to the stage. Both his hands at his pockets. "Hmm." He didn't know what to say.
"I pledge..." He paused, raised his head, and glanced at the crowd. He held a coin in his hand and flicked it at the sky. Using his fingers he shoots the coin into the sky.
Boom!
A powerful shockwave rang in everyone's ears. Wind pressure continued to spread, and some civilians held onto their hats and pamphlets due to the strong wind.
The other courses also watched this in awe.
'He created such strong wind pressure from a coin?' Many of the heroes thought of the same thing.
The coin fell back to Kazuki's hand. He bowed his head in front of the crowd. "That I'll give everyone a spectacular show, and that I'll reach my goals." Kazuki pointed at the sky.
That was stating that he'd win the festival. A smile formed on Kazuki's face. "And for my fellow students. I wish all of us to enjoy this festival." He said. He pointed his hands at the crowd. "I'm also waiting for you guys to scout me, so I'll give it my all."
"He's bold." One of the heroes laughed.
Some of the heroes chuckled hearing the young man.
Kazuki turned around and stood beside Ojiro.
Midnight grabbed the mic. "Now let's get started right away! Now here is the fateful first game! This year it's this!"
[Obstacle Race]
"All 11 Classes will participate in this race. The course will be the other circumference of this stadium, about four kilometers." Midnight raised her hand. "Our school's selling point is freedom!"
She licked her lips. "As long as you stay on the course, it doesn't matter what you do."
"Now take your places, everyone!" Midnight shouted and the whole crowd burst into excitement.
"Big Brother was so cool!" Hinata said still recalling her brother's actions.
"You're right! Your brother is always cool!" Furui shouted raising his fists.
While Akane was worried about the obstacle race. 'It'll be fine, Kazuki can do this!'
All the students gathered at the gate.
Kazuki was yawning at the side.
"Start!" Mightnight shouted.
Immediately everyone flocked inside the gate. They all rushed inside wanting to get in first start.
While Kazuki skimmed the crowd. He saw his family cheering him on, a smile spread across his face. 'Just watch Mom, Dad, Hinata, Grandma, and Grandpa. I'm gonna win!'
