Wei Shiran ate his breakfast, appearing unconcerned, but he was discreetly all ears.
Li Rao hadn't spoken since she sat down, dining quietly and gracefully. It wasn't until she heard Yunyang ask her a question that she looked up.
"I'm really curious about what kind of man could lead you to marry so young. Could you describe what your husband is like? I'm truly very curious," Yunyang asked earnestly, his gaze burning into her.
Even though he knew he had no chance, he still wanted to know what kind of man she would like.
Li Rao replied in a gentle voice, "He is excellent, a gentile with impeccable manners, and very considerate."
Hearing this, Song Yan couldn't help but glance at Wei Shiran.
Wei Shiran's lips curled slightly upwards as he listened, just in time to catch Song Yan's look of disdain. The smile on his lips immediately stiffened.
This was something Li Rao said on her own; he hadn't forced her to say it. Why was Song Yan looking at him like that?
