Yan Ao's hand was still embedded with shards of broken glass, and blood followed, spilling all over the floor. Hearing the commotion, Lu Zhanying came out to inquire about the situation. Song Yan didn't say much, only telling her to go back and clean up the mess she had left behind.

"Song Yan, I only said that earlier in a rush to relieve you from the situation; you're not mad at me, are you?" Yan Ao asked anxiously.

Song Yan's expression was indifferent.

She didn't answer, but instead asked, "Did you drive here?"

Yan Ao paused before replying, "Oh, yes, I did."

"I didn't drive; where is your car?"

There was no beating around the bush, no dragging of words.

"The car keys are in my pocket, but I..." Yan Ao glanced at his own hands helplessly, then looked up at her. "Song Yan, if you don't mind, could you get them for me? They are in the right pocket of my pants."

Song Yan glanced at his hand. Though there was a reason for his condition, she still hesitated for a moment.
