KELLY's POV
After making sure that we’re presentable enough to face my mom, Cheol proceeded to open the door while I went to take a seat on the chair in front of Cheol’s desk.
‘‘What's going on around here that's caused you to decide to call off the meeting at the last minute?’’ As soon as she set foot inside Cheol's office, Mom yelled out while putting her hands on her hips and glaring at Cheol. After that, she turned her gaze away from Cheol and onto me. ‘‘And Kelly, why are you hanging out here instead of going to class?’’
‘‘I...Mom, I-I can't go to school yet!’’ I exclaimed while crossing my arms and legs and making a pouting face with my lips. Didn't she realize that the information about the wedding between Cheol and I had been passed around the entire city of Canberra? And to this day, I have no idea who was responsible for spreading it.
She walked towards me and stopped in front of me before asking, ‘‘And why is that, huh?’’
