Capítulo 70: Chapter 70 ON THE SAND 1

I turned my head to look out at the vast ocean, looking at the moonlight shining down illuminating the water. I got it now, why Uno always wanted to go swimming or surfing or just do anything in the water really. He felt safe, free, and in a way, in control. He could just get out of here and escaped from reality when it started to get cruel.

I averted my gaze back to Uno, giving him a fond smile while hoping the darkness of the night kept him from seeing the small tears forming in my eyes. “Thank you for sharing this with me.” he just smiled and nodded back in response, letting me see he knew that I understood.

Keeping ourselves afloat, I could see the clear-as-day yearning in Uno’s eyes, and for a second, I wondered if he could see the same look in my eyes. I blinked from his lips back to his stare, fighting the urge to kiss his beautiful lips.

“Ashley…”

“Yes?” I said quickly. “Whatever it is, yes, Uno.”
