Capítulo 250: Serie marathon

I laughed, trying to brush off Chloe's teasing, but her smirk only grew more mischievous. Realizing I wouldn't get a moment of peace with her around, I rolled my eyes playfully and stood up.

"I'm going to take this in the other room," I said, holding up my phone as if it were an excuse. Chloe's eyes widened, and she made kissy faces, her laughter following me as I moved toward the bedroom. 

"Don't have too much fun without me!" Chloe called after me, her voice laced with mock seriousness.

"I won't!" I shot back, closing the door behind me. I could still hear Chloe's faint giggles through the door, but they were easy enough to tune out once I pressed the phone to my ear again.

"Sorry about that," I said, leaning against the bed. "Chloe's in full-on teasing mode today."

"I can tell," Carmen replied, amusement in her tone. "I guess I should be flattered. Sounds like she's jealous of the time you're spending on the phone with me."
