Capítulo 143: I Want You

Mei Li walked into the kitchen and found Grace, who stood there with a pale look.

"I can explain," she stuttered, not knowing the perfect excuse to tell her mom to explain why Raymond was here.

"What's wrong?" Mei Li asked with a soft tone. Grace's brow furrowed as she turned behind and couldn't spot Raymond. Her gaze was focused on the door, and her mind was occupied by the explanation she would have to give her mom that she didn't even realize when he left.

"Uhm, I am hungry," she answered and walked to the refrigerator when Mei Li walked to her.

She held her hand. "Come, let's talk; someone will bring you something to eat." Mei Li said as they walked out of the kitchen to the patio outside, where they sat.

Grace's gaze wondered around. Had Raymond left already, or was he still in the building?

"Uhm, did Raymond alert you before showing up at the Aguero mansion?" she started with her questions.
