The Shadow Clone Jutsu, a B-rank technique in the original series, was deliberately developed by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, to enhance Konoha Village's intelligence capabilities.
Unlike the regular Clone Jutsu, which only creates an illusionary clone, the Shadow Clone Jutsu evenly distributes the user's chakra among each clone, creating physical duplicates that are identical to the user. These clones, unlike illusionary ones, can attack and use ninjutsu and genjutsu, representing a significant leap in quality.
With the accelerated training from the app, Yasuke's Shadow Clone Jutsu was flawless and would not produce any subpar clones.
Upon successfully casting the jutsu and creating an identical clone, Yasuke looked at it. The clone had a handsome, clean-cut appearance with black hair, not styled in the typical pineapple shape of the Nara clan but in a neat, fresh-cut look, making him quite satisfied.
However, when Yasuke tested the clone's effect by punching it in the face to see if the pain would transfer back to him, the clone disappeared with a "boom" of smoke. Yasuke was surprised to find that the pain did not transfer back to him!
"What's going on?"
"Did I train the Shadow Clone Jutsu incorrectly? Or is the 'cheat' aspect of the Shadow Clone Jutsu just a myth, added by Kishimoto to give Naruto a power boost?"
In disbelief, Yasuke quickly created another shadow clone and conducted the same experiment.
Unfortunately, the result was the same: the clone did not transfer any information back. Yasuke couldn't help but smile bitterly and thought, "So Kishimoto really just added that feature for the sake of giving Naruto a cheat."
"I knew it. There are so many geniuses in Konoha, yet only Kakashi discovered that the Shadow Clone Jutsu suited Naruto. Turns out it's not because the people of Konoha are dumb, but because it was an artificially accelerated setting to speed up Naruto's growth. The original settings were fake, and so were the ones in fanfiction."
"Shadow Clone Jutsu, your true nature has been revealed. You no longer have the reputation of being a 'cheat' technique!"
Shaking his head silently, Yasuke didn't get discouraged upon learning that the Shadow Clone Jutsu didn't have the cheat-like effect. After all, he still had the app's accelerated training feature, an extraordinary 'cheat' itself. Losing one cheat technique wasn't a big deal.
After recovering his chakra through regular training, Yasuke pulled up the training progress bar to adjust the training progress for the Body Replacement Technique and the Body Flicker Technique.
But as Yasuke opened the progress bar, a change in the Shadow Clone Jutsu's progress caught his attention!
"Huh?"
"Wasn't the Shadow Clone Jutsu's progress 100/100? Why did it suddenly change to 100/1000?"
