Capítulo 99: Assassination

Di Tian subconsciously frowned when the client came in.

"Hhm?"

The person was covered from head to toe with a black robe, leaving no openings at all. But it wasn't the peculiar dress sense that caught Di Tian's attention; it was the thin sword the person was holding that did.

By the time Di Tian's eyes did a general sweep, the sword was only a couple of inches away from his neck.

Boom!

A loud sound echoed as the person rammed into a formless barrier in front of Di Tian. At the same time, the rebound force from the impact slammed the person's body backwards, crashing into the thick walls of the room.

"An assassination?"

Di Tian's chambers was very close to the main hall of the Yi Mercenary Company's building, so the commotion was noticed almost immediately.
