[ Third Person POV ]
Ohara, West Blue ( A few days prior )
Nico Olvia had been quite busy recently.
She had been going from island to island to look for anymore Poneglyphs that she hadn't managed to find throughout her journey. Now she was busy arranging some more notes and documents that she had acquired, and was beginning to head home.
She grabbed a photo of her child that she always kept on her side of the cabin. Smiling longingly as she caressed the photograph. She would soon see her, so there was no need to worry too much. She then folded the photo before tucking it within her breast pocket.
A man opened the door before walking in.
"Olvia, we just finished docking up. We'll be setting sail pretty soon," the man reported.
"That's great, let's get out of here before we attract too much attention," Olvia said as she walked up to the deck.
The rest of the crew that was sailing with Olvia had been busy sorting out supplies and looking for any missing or out of place items.
Looking around, she didn't see anything approaching them at the moment, meaning that they're disguise was still working for the moment.
Soon, they were on their way back to Ohara. They weren't too far from West Blue, so they shouldn't take more than a couple of days to get there.
In the meantime, Olvia would often bury her head into the books as she kept looking for a connection among all the information that she had picked up along the way. She couldn't wrap her head around it. The only story that she had managed to pick up was the fact that there had been a war that shook the world in a negative way. Everything else had been connected to something else completely. However, Olvia couldn't help but note that there was a larger story to pay attention to there.
Numerous kingdoms had been developed that didn't exist during these times. These kingdoms were either destroyed or invaded by other kingdoms. However, one constant remained prevalent within these stories, which was the World Government.
"They've been everywhere; each major historical event that transpired within these extinct kingdoms had been dabbled with by the World Government one way or another...Just what is the World Government?" Nico Olvia pondered as she stared at a large map containing the various kingdoms that were affiliated with the World Government.
A few days passed as she found herself buried in more and more books and notes.
"Hey Olvia, I found these documents lying around at the documents cabin. Where should I put them," a man asked as he held a huge box full of paper.
"Just put them over here. I'll check them out before I figure out where to put them," Olvia instructed as she resumed reading some more notes.
"It's weird...I was reading some of these notes and couldn't help but read something about an ancient kingdom," the man muttered.
"An ancient kingdom...?" Olvia muttered while thinking to herself, "Do you remember the document that highlighted it in particular?"
"Yeah, hold on, let me get it for you."
The man promptly placed the box on the table before he started digging up some papers. He took out a document before handing it over to Olvia.
"There had been multiple records about this ancient kingdom back in Ohara, so if you want more information, you should go there," The man replied.
"Thank you," Olvia said as she began analyzing the document with scrutiny.
There wasn't any information in particular that had caught her attention so far, but the more she kept reading, the more she was slowly beginning to catch on to a familiar pattern.
"The ancient kingdom had faced a vicious battle in which they lost.....and soon, the World Government rose to prominence," Olvia muttered as she kept reading, "Wait, does that mean-?"
Olvia's spoken thoughts were rudely interrupted when she heard an explosion that suddenly shook the ship. She immediately got up and raced to the deck of the ship to analyze the situation.
To her surprise, there was a Marine ship right beside them, and their occupants were reloading their cannons in preparation to fire another round of fire.
"Quick! Arm the cannons and get ready to fire back!"
"Nico Olvia! You're wanted for criminal trespass on World Government Property! Surrender now!" A marine wearing a coat, a Marine Rear-Admiral, ordered via a loudspeaker transponder snail.
Olvia's crew immediately started firing back at the Marine's ship soon after. It was a brutal fight between the two, and they were both in a deadlock.
"Quick! Get some rifles on the railway! We can take out the majority of the cannoneers this way!" Olvia ordered as she grabbed her rifle and aimed it at the Rear-Admiral.
She let off a shot, but the Rear-Admiral raised his blade and cut through her bullet.
"Resisting is useless. Do you really think that this is the only ship that is after you?" The Rear Admiral scorned.
Another ship soon appeared on the other side of Nico Olvia's ship.
A giant with orange hair stood on the deck of the ship. He had his arms folded as he continued looking at the fugitive ship belonging to the archeologists of Ohara.
"Vice Admiral Jaguar!" The Rear-Admiral immediately saluted before reporting, "We have been tracking them since they left the last island; we'll have them captured and send them off to Marineford later."
"There's no need for that; we'll do it ourselves," Vice-Admiral Jaguar replied as his troops immediately leaped onto the ship and began trying to arrest them.
Olvia's comrades immediately began resisting arrest, leaving the Marine troops with no choice but to begin killing off the crewmates. Screams and gunshots echoed throughout the ship as all of them were promptly killed without hesitation. The only individual being taken alive ended up being Nico Olvia.
"Throw her in a cell; I'll be interrogating her soon," Vice-Admiral Jaguar ordered.
Without looking back, Olvia was taken into the cabin cells.
Soon, Olvia was sitting inside a jail cell, and in front of her was none other than the man who ordered her arrest.
"To what pleasure do I owe a Vice-Admiral?" Olvia asked sarcastically; the entire time, Olvia had been shooting daggers at the Vice-Admiral.
"I had orders to arrest you the moment I spotted you; the Rear-Admiral had just made my job easier," Vice-Admiral Jaguar replied, "do you want to explain why you're snooping around World Government property?"
"What World Government property? If I was trespassing on World Government property, I'd have already been arrested a long time ago," Nico Olvia remarked.
"You do have a point," Vice-Admiral Jaguar remarked.
"I just wanted to go home and see my daughter," Nico Olvia remarked bitterly.
After conversing with Olvia for a few more minutes, Vice-Admiral Jaguar promptly got out of the cabin and headed back onto the deck of the ship.
Nico Olvia promptly removed a transponder snail that she had been hiding from her side. She immediately began dialing Boris' number as she looked around for any potential Marine soldiers.
After a few rings, Boris picked up the call, and Nico Olvia immediately began narrating what had just happened.
Let me know what y'all think!!!
Love y'all!!!!
