"Set Sail towards Water 7."
We had arrived in Paradise a while back and stopped on the Sabaody Archipelago for a bit before heading out. We would then often stop by some islands that happened to be nearby for a quick visit and resupplying.
We were now leaving another island that happened to have been close to Water 7. We were making the ship-building island our next destination before we headed towards the Reverse Mountain.
"It's been pretty quiet recently; I'm surprised we haven't run into any Marine presences," Ken remarked as he got up from the deck floor. Ken had just finished doing 1000 push-ups; not bad for a warm-up.
"They'll show up eventually; I noted some people get on a transponder snail while looking at us," Stussy replied.
"I think we have been downplaying the severity of this event," Carla said after drinking some tea, "Are you not the Vice-Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates?"
"I am."
"Then don't you think your movements will likely draw more attention from them?" Carla asked.
"Whether or not I decide to interfere in the execution is yet to be determined," I replied, "they aren't stupid enough to start something with me unless they are certain that I'll be doing something."
"What if they are certain you will pull something off?" Carla asked.
"I see what you're trying to say," Stussy interrupted, "you're saying that they have an incentive to believe that we might try to stop the execution because of our past affiliations with the Roger Pirates."
"What about going to get our ship?" Pato asked, "You guys commissioned Tom to make a ship for us before we left for Skypiea."
"That's a good point, but we're already heading towards the blues. Will they believe we came here to grab a ship?" Ken argued.
"We'll just have to wait and see what they will do," I concluded, "we already know our stance on Roger's execution, and that's all that matters."
"It'll be quite troublesome if we start a war because of a misunderstanding. Should we call them and let them know?" Carla asked.
"Carla~ you forget the fact that we're pirates. We don't have to do anything if they want to find out. They'll ask us themselves," Stussy immediately replied.
The estimated arrival time to Water 7 would be about a day or two, so the rest of the crew was busy either guiding the ship or simply training and relaxing.
I returned to the cabinet and decided to sleep until we docked there.
Soon, Stussy woke me up and informed me of our prompt arrival in Water 7. By the time I left the cabin, the crew had already docked the ship; they were now on their way out of the ship, looking for new supplies.
"I'm going to see Tom for a bit; just keep an eye on the crew," I told Stussy before taking off and heading to the docks where Tom's company worked.
Landing right in front of Tom's office, I was surprised to find a few people lined up waiting to be called into the building.
I looked around for any worker, trying to find someone I could ask about the ship.
"Hey!"
A short, blue-haired kid ran up to me. He had nothing but some cargo shorts on and a tropical shirt with the buttons opened.
"You're the guy that Tom said to look out for!" He exclaimed.
"Where is he?" I asked.
"He can't get to you right now because of all the people trying to get him to build their ships. I heard some of them are representatives who work for pirates; crazy, right?" He remarked with a smile.
"I'm a pirate as well," I answered.
"Well, you're different! Most people who claim to be pirates normally try to strong-arm us into making a ship. I heard that you're doing Tom a favor and paying him to make the ship," he responded.
"That's okay. So, will you take me to where my ship is being built?" I inquired.
"Sure! I don't mind. My name is Franky, by the way! I'm gonna be the greatest ship Wright of all time! I'll even surpass Tom!!!" Franky declared.
"That's cool; I'm sure you'll be able to accomplish that in the future," I remarked.
"You think so? I'm glad! Let me take you to the ship," Franky smiled before leading me deeper into the docks.
We passed by numerous ships that were still in development. There were numerous workers just slamming hammers against the planks. Eventually, we finally stopped at a ship that looked complete. It was the only ship that was untouched.
"Tom said that the ship is practically finished; it's just that he needed to add some finishing touches to it before he gave it to you," Franky commented.
The ship was pretty big, about three-quarters of the size of the Moby Dick. Embroideries of gold and silver were lined along the ship highlights, and the head of a man with a beard and spikes for a crown stood as the ship head.
"Tom said that he would name the ship Hades, and all he has to do is add some more highlights," Franky commented as he paced to and from the front to the back.
"It's good that things are progressing smoothly; tell Tom I'll visit East Blue for a while. I'll be back to pick up the ship or wait until it's done," I commented.
I immediately took to the sky before heading towards where we had docked the ship. Only to be surprised once again.
Stussy, Ken, Carla, and Pato stood in a fighting pose while glaring at a man who seemed to be wearing a Marine overcoat.
"Hm~ I was told to keep a low profile when I followed you around.....guess that's a failure," Borusalino's sunglasses glinted as he kept his hands in his pockets.
"I guess the Marines want to antagonize the Whitebeard Pirates~" Stussy replied as her fingers grew claws.
"Far from it," Borusalino replied. "When we heard that you guys are moving into Paradise, we couldn't simply stand by and wait.~"
"Well, I doubt that this is the proper way of figuring out our intentions," Stussy responded, "you already know how Boris feels about seeing you."
"Last time, he couldn't even touch me. It was a really scary time~" Borusalino responded with a smile.
"I think things will be different this time," I replied, clasping his shoulders.
Borusalino immediately froze before slowly turning his head to me. I had landed behind him before walking up to him. Reducing my presence and creeping up on him was only child's play for me.
"Hm~ It's been a while, Boris...I'm only here to observe you guys for a bit," Borusalino raised his hands before trying to elementize away from me.
"For what reason?" I asked Borusalino.
"What are you re-?" Borusalino didn't finish his sentence because I immediately flung him away.
"Let's go, ignore the Marines, and keep a course towards the Reverse Mountain," I announced.
Borusalino materialized right beside me.
"Ho~ You threw me quite a bit of a distance, you know?" Borusalino remarked, "Anyway, what I was trying to tell you is that the Marines are weary of you. So they sent me to keep an eye on you.."
"Should I kick him out?" Stussy asked.
"Be my guest," I replied.
Stussy immediately appeared in front of Borusalino before trying to land a nasty kick on Borusalino's head.
He managed to coat his arms with Armament Haki before blocking the attack. Stussy followed up with another push kick that pushed him towards the ship's railing.
I sat and decided to watch the show from the comfort of a wine barrel.
Let me know what y'all think!!!
Love y'all!!!!
