Capítulo 205: The Journey To The Moby Dick

"Well, I'm sure Whitebeard can make a proper decision on this."

"That's what I'm hoping. I'm kind of happy that you guys aren't too far off, they make a fuss every single day we're on this ship."

"Ha! I bet you're having a blast watching all of that drama unfold. You better get here fast though, Whitebeard said that he'd be throwing a party in Roger's honor."

"Hm? When did this happen?"

"Apparently, Rayleigh had called Whitebeard the other day and dropped the big news. He was laughing for quite a while after."

"That's good, I guess."

"Anyway, now that you got the location. You should get here soon."

"Cool."

With that, I hung up the call with Marco. I had to contact him to get a good location on where they currently were. He also had been filling me in on what had been happening while I was away. Although there wasn't any much happening there, it was kind of important to me to always follow up on the Old Man's well being.

I suddenly heard a loud rumble coming from the deck. I was in the cabin resting for a bit before I had decided to call Marco, and now my rest had ended. Slowly walking up, my Conqueror's Haki leaking out of me as I finally stood on the deck.

"The fuck is all this noise?" I asked calmly.

Bubble Jack, who had his fist raised at Ken, froze. Meanwhile, Ken; who also had his fist raised, froze as well.

The rest of the crew, who happened to be surrounding them and cheering the duo on, froze as well. The only four people who had happened to be taking a calm approach to all this were Mont. Fiore, Pato, Stussy and Carla.

They all immediately turned to me with a rather surprised expression.

"Commander! We were.....settling our differences....in a affirmative manner," Ken tried explaining.

"What he said," Bubble Jack added.

"If you two keep making noise the way you are. I'll be taking action on the both of you....affirmatively," I threatened coldly.

The two of them immediately got up before dusting themselves. Turning to the rest of the crew, they immediately made themselves busy. Almost as if they weren't inciting the two to fight to begin with.

Carla, who happened to be sitting next to Stussy, shifted uncomfortably as she watched me walk up to Stussy.

"What're you up to?"

"Oh nothing, just enjoying the show," Stussy replied with a smile, "it's fun watching two grown men go at it."

I sighed before heading to the kitchen. I was going to make myself a cup of coffee. However, before I walked through the door, I called the two navigators to tell them where we were heading next.

"Apparently, Whitebeard's been cruising near an island that's a bit of a distance from Wano. So let's go to Wano first, and then we can find them after that."

Kane and Brok nodded before heading towards the navigation station to set out a route.

Walking into the kitchen, I was surprised to find a steaming cup of black coffee sitting on the cupboard. Looks like someone had made it for me while I was in the cabin.

I downed the cup before heading out to go back to the cabin.

"Did you enjoy your coffee?" Stussy asked, still remaining where she had been sitting.

I nodded before she tossed me a rolled up newspaper. This morning news had just dropped, and the front page had quite the interesting photo.

"They're finally doing that, huh?"

A nice big fat picture of Roger just completely occupied the entire newspaper. The headline was written in large bold italic writing: PIRATE KING ROGER: WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE. With his bounty highlighted right under his picture.

"I take it the World Government won't tolerate Roger living anymore now that he has done it," Stussy mentioned.

"It was inevitable, they're weary," I responded as I turned the page.

The World Conscription was still ongoing, the World Economic News claimed that it would be over in about a month. Moreover, there were slowly beginning to issue out new policies concerning affiliated Kingdoms.

"You think they'll catch him?" Stussy asked.

"Probably, probably not," I answered; "it all depends on whether or not Roger is willing to."

With that, I placed the newspaper on the table and went back to bed.

...

Three days later, we found ourselves along the stormy seas that happened to be near Wano.

I immediately got up when I heard thunder rumbling nearby. Heading out of the cabin, I was met with an intense shower of rain accompanied with the strong currents of the stormy seas.

I immediately headed towards the navigation center where Brok and Kane were debating. It seemed that they were torn over where they should be heading to next. However, that was the exact reason as to why I was there.

"Let me see the map."

Looking at the map, I glued my eyes on the islands that had happened to be closer to Wano.

"Marco said that it was an island that was east of Wano...." I muttered while tracing my finger over the east side of Wano.

"Here, set a course for this island. It's probably where Whitebeard is at the moment. Hurry, so we can get away from this annoying storm."

"Can't you control the weather?" Brok asked curiously.

"I can, but weather that make. I can't directly change the force of nature." I replied.

"So you can change it indirectly?" Kane asked.

"Pretty much."

Heading near the bow of the ship, I saw the distant island of Wano. If I really wanted to, I could have easily flown there to check on Oden. I hadn't heard much from him or Toki ever since they had came back from Laugh Tale.

'Should I?'

Now the curiosity was beginning to get to me. Looking around, I didn't seem to find Stussy anywhere on the deck. I calmly walked into the cabin to find Stussy quietly drinking some tea with Carla. They didn't seem to mind the current storm that was roaring on top of us.

However, I wasn't here for all of that.

"I'm heading out for a while, you're in charge."

"Where you headed to?"

"No need to worry too much about it."

"You already know how Pops feels about this," Stussy pointed out.

"I'm not planning on doing anything crazy," I protested.

I left before Stussy could do some argue some more. I didn't feel like talking anymore about this.

Walking back on the deck, I found Mont. Fiore and Bubble Jack staring grimly at the sky. It wasn't too surprising because they hadn't been in the New World before.

"Stay here while I'm gone. If I find that my ship is destroyed I'm killing all of you."

I didn't say anything else, and grew my wings before kicking the ground and taking to the sky. Since the winds were choppy, I had to use moonwalk so that I could propel myself through the storm.

Flying over the waterfall, I had the opportunity of seeing Wano after so long. It paled in comparison to what it had used to look like.
