Capítulo 76: Troubles In The Sky
[ Third Person POV ]
Boris' Ship
A baleful roar that sent shivers down the spines of Stussy and the crew reverbarted throughout the entire sea. The entire crew knew who the owner of this roar was, however, it felt different than the other times that they had heard it. Ken was quick on the uptake.
"Miss Stussy! Will he be okay? That roar....it didn't sound right," Ken noted with concern.
Stussy remained silent at Ken's inquiry, truth was that she knew something was off as well. Though it wasn't strong, she could feel a minute burst of killing intent that came with the roar. Judging from the distance that they had been away from Boris. The burst of killing intent would have been quite dense, the more they came closer to him.
Stussy kept looking at the direction the roar came from with a conflicted expression. She knew that it would take quite a bit to defeat him, however, she didn't know how he was doing at the moment. This ate her mind as she debated with herself whether or not to go to him. That meteor
The rest of the crew remained silent as they waited for Stussy to give out orders. Over time, they had come to respect Stussy almost as much as they did Boris. Moreover, she was very kind to them during their time together, it also helped that her orders were very logical so that the crew could have understood her intentions.
"Anchor the ship here, I'll go get Boris back!" Stussy ordered after a long period of debate.
She didn't even wait for the crew's response before she took off using moonwalk. She sped through the fierce winds in desparation as she got closer and closer to a towering figure which seemed to be in a frenzy.
She didn't take long before she saw a golden figure shooting away from the figure towards her. She quickly dodged it before turning her head to find out its identity. The figure managed to stop itself midair and regain its balance. The figure was of a man with a blond beard, his mouth had spat out quite a bit of blood. His figure looked quite disheveled, however, the fire that shined in his eyes indicated he wasn't done yet.
Stussy obviously knew the identity of this man, it was the Golden Lion, and right now he was fighting something quite formidable to be able to make him bleed that much. As she wondered what had happened to him, the Golden Lion glared at the strange lady that was currently looking at him in surprise.
"Who the hell are you? Don't you know that you're in the middle of a warzone? Leave!" Shiki yelled at Stussy.
"What did you do to him?" Stussy questioned coldly.
Her answer was found when she heard Boris' familiar roar coming from behind her. As she turned, Shiki's eyes turned cold and he immediately lunged at her. Intending to use Stussy as a hostage to escape the situation.
Since Shiki stabbed Boris from behind, Shiki was being tossed about like a ragdoll. It didn't help that the monster that used to be Boris seemed immune to pain. He had tried everything, however, the dragon wouldn't budge; in fact, it seemed to be annoying it even more. Leading to Shiki getting caught by one of its heads during one of his attacks, and getting his right shoulder shattered by its teeth. It was safe to assume that Shiki was spent, the only thing that he hadn't tried was the meteor.
'Wait! That's it!'
"JIHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!" Shiki cackled maniacally as he now held Stussy by her throat.
"It would've been nice if that brat joined us, however, he made his bed; Now both of you will lie in it." Shiki said scornfully.
Throughout the entire time, the dragon seemed to not be paying attention to what Shiki was doing, but rather focusing on a fleeting group of ships in the distance. The heads seemed to be drooling even as they sensed plenty of lifeforms within the ship.
Shiki's eyes widened as he saw the dragon start heading straight to the Marines. He initially thought that holding Stussy hostage would have delayed the situation a bit while he calls for another meteor shower. However, what he didn't know was that Boris wasn't even in control. His concious could only witness what the spirit of Ghidorah would be doing from this point of time.
Marine Fleet
Garp and Sengoku continued watching the chaos from the back of the ship. Garp was still discontent over Sengoku's decision to retreat, but he knew that it was probably for the better. Garp grabbed a bag of seashells from the grasp of Sengoku and began chewing on it. Sengoku immediately grabbed his snack back, and just when it seemed that the two were about to wrestle over a bag of seashells. They heard a baleful roar that seemed to be getting louder by the minute.
The eyes of both Garp and Sengoku flashed red as they sensed the familiar presence coming their way. It was obvious that they knew the identity of the figure closing in, but they just couldn't believe it. The person wasn't known to start troublesome fights, if anything, he retaliates more than he initiates.
However, now wasn't the time to be pondering over intentions. The dragon was coming closer and closer towards the Marine's fleet, soon, the Marines aboard began panicking over it. It took Sengoku's reprimandings to calm them. He and Garp promptly looked at each other and nodded. They knew that this was going to be an even harder fight than before.
Just as they were about to brace themselves for impact. The dragon stopped a distance from the fleet and promptly stared at the sky. It was as if they had sensed an impending danger and they were trying to figure out the source of it. Garp and Sengoku briefly looked up to the sky and used observation haki to identify the threat.
They both sighed in frustration as they identified another huge meteor coming their way. They immediately concluded that it was probably Shiki's doing. Speaking of him, Sengoku sensed him flying towards them at a rapid pace, he was holding a young woman by the scruff of her neck as they approached the Marine Fleet.
"Sengoku! Garp! This brat isn't in control!!! We need to work together and put the boy down!" Shiki offered.
Stussy had briefly informed him of what had happened. It wasn't like she wanted to, but the moment that the dragon had shown no interest in her. She knew something was up, and more fearfully, she feared the outcomes of letting such a monster roam free in the New World.
Since Whitebeard was too far to quell the situation immediately, she needed to use the most powerful individual; or in this case, individuals, to stop Boris from making a maddening rampage. At least until he got back to his normal self.
The dragon immediately used all three of its heads to charge up a laser cannon. This time, however, it was ten times more powerful than the entire group had ever seen him charge.
Right as the three heads finished charging, they released a laser cannon that was almost twice their own size at the meteor. It was important to note that the meteor that Shiki had summoned was about twice the size of the initial one. Adding along to the other tiny meteorites that came along with the meteor.
It wasn't an exaggeration to say that the meteor was about the same size as a small continent. However, the laser canon made it look like the meteor was paper weight.
The attack penetrated through the meteor and went right through to the other end of it. Causing it to split in two and explode. The heat of the explosion was so big that it made the debris from the destroyed meteor disintergrate during the process of the explosion.
As a result, nothing was left of Shiki's attack. The only thing that could have proved the power of Boris' animal form was the fact that there was a huge hole in the clouds. That was the full power of Ghidorah.
