42.71% Isn't It Normal for a Hogwarts Professor to Be the Dark Lord? / Chapter 44: Chapter 44: Mr. Troll

Capítulo 44: Chapter 44: Mr. Troll

"Clap, clap, clap," Tver applauded as he stepped into the restroom, "An excellent Pressure Charm. I can't believe you just learned this charm this afternoon."

"Professor Fawley!"

Hermione's face lit up with joy, and her hand that was channeling magic involuntarily relaxed, no longer maintaining the effect of the Pressure Charm.

Feeling a slight looseness under her feet, the troll staggered abruptly. Having exerted too much force just now, it felt strange to relax now.

Trying to kick-start its small brain, the troll pondered in confusion for a moment, but to no avail, its small brain capacity only left it with one sensation—tear apart these two people in front of it!

The joy on Hermione's face disappeared instantly, replaced by a helpless widening of her eyes as she watched the troll swing its massive club down towards her.

"Professor—"

She hadn't finished her sentence when the troll seemed frozen in place, still in the posture of swinging the wooden club, but not moving an inch above her head, ten feet away.

"What's wrong?"

Tver emerged from behind the troll, but there was now a bubble on his nose.

Careless, the stench emanating from the troll was somehow a hundred times worse than the restroom...

"No...nothing," Hermione said shyly, lowering her head, "How did you know I was here?"

"Your two friends told me."

As Tver "blew" the troll away, he helped Hermione up.

The young witch's legs were still a bit weak, almost unable to stand.

"What kind of friends are these?" she pouted, speaking softly.

"Don't be too hard on them, consider everyone who cares about you as friends, that's how you get more friends."

He also took the opportunity to fix the restroom before letting go of Hermione's hand, allowing her to stand with her classmates.

The students arrived, and a few concerned professors stood not far away.

The corridor was bustling, and Percy struggled to maintain order, getting young wizards to behave was not an easy task.

"Stand in order according to your own house and year. First years at the front, third years at the back, second years? Of course in the middle!"

Suddenly everyone quieted down, eagerly looking behind him.

Percy turned around, "Professor! I've brought over students from all four houses, from first to third years!"

Tver nodded in satisfaction.

"Thank you very much, Percy. Please stay here for a while longer. As a reward, you can practice magic on the troll later."

Percy immediately smiled, "It's my honor."

Tver then turned to the young wizards and pointed to the troll a little further down the corridor.

"As you can see, we have a gentle troll here, and tonight's extra lesson will be conducted by him for everyone."

He positioned the troll's body into a spread-eagle shape, allowing the students to see every part of it clearly.

"So first, what is a troll?"

Hermione raised her hand eagerly, standing out among the third-year students.

"Hermione," Tver flicked his wand, "As an aside, Miss Granger just obstructed the troll for at least twenty minutes, using magic she learned just this afternoon. So Gryffindor earns ten points!"

Hermione, suddenly the center of attention, blushed shyly but still gathered the courage to answer loudly.

"A troll is a magical creature with astonishing strength but very low intelligence. Because of this, they are very violent and often lash out for no reason."

"That's correct. Trolls are generally divided into three types: mountain trolls, forest trolls, and river trolls, and the one we have here is a mountain troll."

"Professor, are all trolls as stinky as this one?" a first-year wizard asked.

They stood at the front, closest to the troll, meaning they could smell the odor most distinctly.

"Except for river trolls, the smell of the other two types isn't great. After all, it's hard to make these creatures understand the concept of bathing."

Considering the young wizards' tolerance, Tver conjured a bubble around the troll to contain the smell.

The students breathed a sigh of relief.

"I believe you have also noticed that trolls have very small heads. The Muggle world likes to measure a creature's intelligence by brain capacity, and so do we in the magical world. But, be aware, that some magical creatures may have small brain capacities, but their intelligence may not be small. So don't underestimate any magical creatures; they might be smarter than you. Of course, this rule still applies to trolls. So despite their large feet and long arms, their small heads are actually their fatal weakness. This is another principle of biology—no creature is perfect. Once you find the weakness, you can easily defeat this troll. Next, I will allow some outstanding young wizards to come forward and demonstrate how to deal with the troll."

As soon as he finished speaking, the young wizards exclaimed excitedly, as if their loud voices could prove their excellence.

Tver pulled out a jingling pocket, the first batch of Shield Charm badges he had commissioned from Davies and Banks.

Of course, what other small magics were in there, only he knew.

"Do you remember the Light Ball game? The top ten students from each grade, please come forward to receive your badges."

Accompanied by the disappointed sighs of their classmates, the thirty students who ranked at the top walked proudly forward, each taking out a badge from the pocket.

"This is a protective badge, which will protect you when you encounter danger, so try to place it in the middle of your body, like around your waist or abdomen—Mr. Malfoy, I know wearing it on your chest complements your handsome face, but please follow instructions."

A slight blush appeared on Malfoy's fair face as he hastily pinned the badge in the center of his abdomen.

Harry chuckled at the scene; he had initially wanted to wear it on his chest, but seeing Malfoy do so, he gave up on the idea.

"Very well, let's have the top ten students from the first year come forward."

Tver lifted the freezing spell on the troll, but then cast a slowing spell, allowing it to break through the bubble he had created in slow motion.

The stench hit them, bringing tears to the eyes of the ten students.

"The stench is also a form of attack from the troll. Additionally, have you noticed its long arms? That's another overt means of attack it possesses. Some unlucky wizards have been squashed because they underestimated the length of its arms."

The students instinctively took a step back, even though they were still far away.

"Now, here's the question: as first-year students, how would you deal with this troll? All first-year students can think about this question."

Hermione raised her hand again, "Use the Pressure Charm to slow down the troll's movements!"

"Yes, that's also the method Miss Granger used just now to deal with the troll. Its large footprints make it particularly easy and effective to release the Pressure Charm. What else could you do? Remember, the troll's weakness is in its head."

To redeem himself, Malfoy guessed loudly, "Flash its eyes?"

"Absolutely correct!" Tver snapped his fingers excitedly, causing the torches in the corridor to flicker.
