"Do you want to come up for a bit?"

Daemon looked at Evelyn after stopping the car in front of her apartment's building.

"Not this time. I will see you on Monday."

Evelyn searched his black eyes for a chance for him to change his mind about tomorrow, but seeing only calm inside, she didn't bring up the subject. She simply smiled:

"Then, see you Monday."

Simultaneously leaning toward each other, the distance between them shortened, their gazes hovering between each other's eyes and each other's lips, before they erased any distance between the latter.

It was deep, but nothing sultry. Their lips didn't remain locked for too long, separating as they looked at each other with affection.

"Ohhhh…"
