"55 millions ! Even if she is a devil fruit user, she is ugly and full of scars. I think that should be the maximum price." A celestial dragon boasted loudly.
But then a chilling voice cut him off.
"300 millions !" I couldn't understand what is going on when I groggily opened my eyes. Something felt cold around my neck.
Suddenly a chilling sensation ran down my spine.
//System alert !
'Master ! It would be better, if you do not open your eyes now. Let me explain your situation right now.'
I just couldn't ignore the cold feeling in my gut.
The foreboding feeling was too much.
'tell me...'
'You were captured by the tri head pirates. Their leader kept you sedated the entire way to the Sabaody archipelago. After coming here you were sold into slave auction house. And currently a bidding is going on to buy you.'
'Then why the hell are you telling me this in such a casual tone! This is the worst thing ever ! Tell me a way to get out of this !'
'There is no way out. I have already warned you before. And you choose this option on your own accords. Now be ready to face the consequences. Now it is not something even I can interfere.' Alfred mercilessly cut me off.
'Alright then I would rather die than become a slave.' I said in my mind as I got ready to cut off my own breath.
'Wait ! Master ! Don't take such a rash decision.
You will just have to survive 3 years. Three years and you will become one of the strongest in the world.
Just survive, do whatever you need to do ! Weather it is good or bad don't hesitate ! Don't let your will die down. Fuel the fire within you with the hatered towards the world noble.
I have already told you about this. If you break then you will lose your life . Now you only chance is to survive and thrive on your anger and will. Now you don't have multiple options. You have only a single option left.
Survive. The boa sisters have survived for four years. The only thing was that they broke under the pressure. You just have to stay strong.' Alfred tried to encourage me in a weird way.
And it was not a reassuring at all. Now I can clearly here the conversation going on outside.
"Oh my, Saint Figerland Gingering!"
"Saint Donquixote Violet, you wouldn't mind if I take that slave in higher price, do you ?" The male voice who has bidded 300 millions asked the female one.
"I would mind. But then again I am not ready to spend that much on such a ugly thing. You can have it." She spoke casually.
"Alright gentlemen and ladies slave number 404 has been sold to saint Figerland Gingering." After a few seconds, another voice spoke beside me.
"I am heading there to the holy lands. Send it their. I think it should be enough for me to win the annual tournament."
"Of course Saint Figerland.

The Native Hunting Competition is a triennial contest partaken exclusively by the World Nobles. It involves an island-wide Manhunt, where the slaughter of the resident population is translated to points, leading to victory for the top scorer.
This tournament occurs once every three years in individual islands unaffiliated with the World Government. Once an island is chosen for the contest, it is forcefully claimed by the government, regardless of consent of it's actual rulers.
The native population is rounded up and kept captive in cages to be later released and hunted down for sport throughout the tournament, with a few slaves and criminals also being employed as additional game if necessary. For the purposes of the event, the hunted all have a target symbol on their back and are referred to as Rabbits.
The edition of the tournament held on God Valley featured around 100,000 civilians as Rabbits to hunt, including 150 Rare Rabbits and 13 Super Rare Rabbits
The competition seemingly lasts for three weeks, with civilians being told that they get to be freed if they manage to survive for that long. According to Emporio Ivankov, this is a lie meant to motivate Rabbits with a false hope of escape and trick them into immersing themselves into the hunt as prey. Also according to Ivankov, previous editions of the tournament have ended with zero survivors, further reinforcing that there is no real way to survive the competition outside leaving the island somehow. Marines are tasked with encircling the island in order to prevent just that.
But the world nobles were worse than demons in the hell for a reason.
Apart from this game, they engage in another 'interesting game' for their entertainment. It is called the weekly forest Survival. Where slaves in groups of twenty were put into a large cage to fight with each other. Only one survivor is labelled as wolf and allowed to stay alive. The more matches a wolf survives the more points it gains, a single point for a single match. And the wolves who gains more than 50 points are considered as super rare rabbits in the next Native Hunting Competition. And the original masters of these super rare rabbits are rewarded with 500 points bonus from the beginning of Native Hunting Competition.
Saint Figerland Gingering was searching for strong slaves which can give him the additional points in the upcoming competition. So he used to visit the slave auction house in a daily basis. Untill he found an ugly slave with a devil to power. At least the auction house claimed it to be. But regardless of the devil fruit, it's aura was strong. It almost sent a tingling sensation to his spine. Figerland decided that, he was going to buy that slave no matter what and break it completely.
Later that day, a strong conqueror's haki swept through the entire holy lands of Mariejoice. The haki was even stronger than that of five elders.
Many world novels along with slaves and workers fainted from the effect. Obviously, as a god's night, Figerland was awake. But it made him smile. He was going to enjoy breaking it.
