Davian stared down at where Lake's hand had connected, getting with the program and following after Lake.

Having his breakfast in the car while Lake drove was the perfect distraction. He barely tasted the food but at least his icy cold shower hadn't lost its effectiveness.

BlueAir was a much smaller company than FluxCorp, and the security at the gates hastily let them in at the sight of Davian.

"Good morning," A secretary was at the entrance to greet them, looking harried.

"The meeting room is this way please." She glanced down at her tablet as she spoke. "It'll begin in a few minutes and almost all of the board members have arrived."

Lake listened to her speak, he had been too busy reading up on the reports of the company workings to find out about the other board members.

Not that it mattered, he would be getting to see the rest of the board in a scant few minutes.
