Lake woke up to an insistent ray of sunlight falling right across his face, stretching as he got off the bed.

He straightened out the sheets and arranged the pillows out of habit, going to do the same to Davian's bed.

The house staff only came in a couple of times a week to clean up so this little task fell to them.

He didn't mind it, he knew without a doubt that Davian was currently making breakfast, it was only right that he did his bit.

Doctor Perez would be coming over that morning so Lake went right to the bathroom.

As soon as he stepped in, he was reminded how his shower of the day before had gone, making a mental note to never use the almond body wash again. At least not while he was still pregnant.

His worries were unfounded because the array of body wash had reduced drastically, and instead were all in a variety of chocolate-scented products.
