Davian sat in one of his many offices after his visit to Doctor Perez.

He had put it as one of the first things on his schedule for the day because it was so easy to postpone the visits, and he didn't want to keep doing that.

The building was a high rise, and the wall of windows in his office provided him an ample view of the clear summer sky and an aesthetic view of Haines.

Perez had given him the go-ahead to go off his inhibitors for a week, and if he hadn't gotten his rut in that time, he would have to return for another evaluation.

The stress was something he would rather avoid, but he would pick it over another unexpected flash rut.
