Capítulo 11: Divine Skill

Robin is definitely an expert when it comes to overcoming psychological trauma.

At just eight years old, everyone who was kind to her died, and a bounty of 79 million Berries was placed on her head. She spent every day either running or preparing to run.

Compared to Robin, whether it's Nami, Hancock, or even Shirahoshi, their tough childhoods seem easier. They at least had family members and people who loved them by their side.

Robin, on the other hand, would have continued living that way for twenty years if she hadn't met Kahn.

As a seasoned survivor, Robin is confident she can help the three Boa sisters overcome their shadows.

The next day, Kahn entrusted the training of the three Boa sisters to Robin. He donned his cloak and returned to the lawless area. Using his unique perception, he searched for human traffickers and bounty hunter groups scattered across the islands in the illegal zone.

Once he located the villains, Kahn stunned them from a distance with his Conqueror's Haki. Then, he approached them, read their memories using his Observation Haki, and began gathering information. Reading people's hearts is undoubtedly a magical skill.

Even if Kahn had never watched One Piece or had forgotten all its plot points, he wouldn't worry. Collecting intelligence by reading people's hearts every time he visited a new island had become his habit.

After reading the villains' memories, Kahn confirmed one thing: Rayleigh and Shakky had not yet settled in the Sabaody Archipelago. There was no Shakky's Rip-Off Bar in the lawless area, and the three Boa sisters had already been sold to the auction house. Shakky, who was good at collecting information, would have known this if they had already been there.

Apparently, they hadn't arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago yet.

After reading the memories of several gangs of villains and gaining a little understanding of the Sabaody Archipelago of this period, Kahn returned to Island No. 1.

The explosion last night didn't stop the auction house from holding its upcoming auction. They had only lost three items. Presumably, the people behind the auction came to rescue those three items. To stun all the Den Den Mushi, disable all the guards, and take those three items without a sound, the culprit must be strong. It might even be the captain of the Kuja Pirates.

Even the Marines have been unable to handle the Kuja Pirates for centuries. The culprit didn't release or destroy other goods, which was already quite merciful. So, after sending someone to repair the hole in the auction house, calm was restored.

After sensing the auction house and not finding anyone with significant influence, Kahn decided to wait until the auction was over before leaving the Sabaody Archipelago with Robin and the others.

Kahn didn't free the other slaves because, first, he wasn't a saint, and second, he didn't want to disrupt the auction. He wanted to see if any Devil Fruits would be auctioned. The black market list he received didn't include any Devil Fruits, but that list wasn't final.

The three Boa sisters weren't the star items of the upcoming auction. The auction house likely kept some extremely valuable items as surprises. Kahn wanted to see if the Paramecia Love-Love Fruit, which Hancock ate in the original story, would appear in this auction. If it did, he planned to take it.

Time flew by, and several days passed quickly. During this time, Kahn secretly observed Robin training the three Boa sisters.

Robin, who became a scholar at the age of eight, is incredibly intelligent and emotionally aware. Her year on the run gave her a deep understanding of human nature and how to read people.

It took less than a day for Robin to understand the personalities and behaviours of the three Boa sisters and to grasp how traffickers managed to capture Hancock despite her mastery of Haki.

The reason was clear: they were incredibly innocent!

Robin realized that this innocence was common among the Kuja Pirates and the people of Amazon Lily. This purity allows them to focus intensely on whatever they do, making their Haki training remarkably effective.

Helping such pure-hearted people overcome their trauma was easy for Robin. What had made the Boa sisters withdrawn and shy was their first encounter with "evil." To counteract this, Robin knew she just needed to let them experience the "good" within themselves.

So, Robin didn't act sternly but instead was as gentle as an older sister. She chatted with the three Boa sisters to build a connection, sharing her own experiences to resonate with them.

Early the next morning, Robin took the three Boa sisters to the business district, found a large clothing store, and bought them a lot of clothes. In just one day, Robin established herself as a kind, gentle big sister in their eyes.

Innocent Hancock quickly regarded Robin as a friend, while Sonia and Mary saw her as an older sister and began to talk to her more. The friendship among girls can be that simple.

Kahn watched Robin's approach with approval. Entrusting the training of the three Boa sisters to her had been the right decision.

As the bond between Robin and the three Boa sisters strengthened, the auction for the first quarter of the year finally began. To avoid triggering the Boa sisters, Kahn attended the auction alone, leaving Robin and the sisters behind.

When Kahn arrived, the auction was about to start. He found a seat in the back, near the entrance. These seats were elevated, giving Kahn a clear view of the floor below, where the Celestial Dragons sat isolated from everyone else.

One Celestial Dragon, a skinny middle-aged man, caught Kahn's eye. Kahn didn't recognize him from the original story, indicating he was an unimportant character. With just a glance, Kahn turned his attention back to the stage, where the host was about to begin the auction.
