Mr Adam was in his office when his phone started ringing.

He took it without even checking who was calling assuming it was one of the clients who he was supposed to be meeting.

"Hello, Mr Adams speaking," he said as he placed the phone on his ear holding it with his shoulder as he continued working on the documents that were in front of him.

"Hello, Mr Adam. This is Elias, the man working in the magistrates' office," the person on the other line said causing Mr Adam to let go of the papers he was holding and hold his phone as he started panicking.

He had paid the man with only one agenda, to keep an eye on the office and inform him when the two sisters visited their mother's lawyer.

"Yes. I remember you. Did something happen?" he asked as he masked his emotions.

"Yes sir. Today, I saw the ladies who were in the photo you gave me," the man said causing Mr Adam to feel dizzy.
