Everyone was shocked when they saw what happened.

Liam took a glass of water and walked to them but slowly.

As a director, he could distinguish when one is acting or not thus, although he had thought that Aurora had indeed fainted, he could tell from his sister's lousy acting that Aurora was pretending.

He wanted to laugh but he knew his limits. Also, he knew that if he dared ruin their plan, he might not hear the end of it after the party ended.

A walk that was supposed to take less than seconds took more than three minutes making some people who were anxious frown as they wondered what he was doing but both Faith and Arielle chuckled inwardly when they saw that.

Many people wanted to hand the water to Faith when she asked for it as it was the same as making a good relationship with one of the most successful company's bosses but they didn't dare move forward when they saw that Liam had stood up and started waking to them.

They knew that their acting had been seen through and he supposed them just like he used to do when they were kids.

"I am sorry. When I was walking, my knee started aching thus I had to walk slowly," he said as he faked pain.

"What? Brother Liam, are you okay?" Arielle asked full of worry.

"What the heck…. You now forgot that your sister has fainted and are worried about him? Or do both of you have an illicit relation going on?" Luciana's voice was heard.

Arielle frowned as she looked at the latter.

"What has it to do with you? Also, weren't you calling us sisters affectionately when we arrived? Now that my sister has fainted, most people are worried about her although they are strangers but you, you have been watching the scene from our table with a smile on your face or do you think that I couldn't see you?" Arielle asked sharply.

"That's a lie! Little sister, how can you accuse me of such a thing? Do you know how worried I was when I saw my big sister falling? But when I saw that Mr Parker had stood up, I felt relieved," Luciana said pitifully making Arielle speechless.

'If you want to act then I can also act!' she said to herself as she started crying.

"Relieved? How can a sister be relieved when they saw a person standing up to bring water? As a sister, shouldn't you be relieved when you only see your sister waking up?" Arielle asked as she choked.

"I thought that you were sincere but it seemed that it was just a lie! You called us your sister affectionately when you saw us because you wanted everyone to know that we are Adam's sisters who had been chased away. Sister, I never you that you are that kind of a person. Anyways, I will stop here as I have to take care of my sister," Arielle added.

Luciana's face turned ugly as she never expected that Arielle would use her methods to fight her. She wanted to say something but Arielle didn't let her.

"You say that you care but if you did then why didn't you bring the glass of water when you saw Brother Liam walking slowly? Now you blame me for asking Brother Liam whether he is in pain? He is the one who brought the water when we requested it thus I am grateful, unlike some people who know how to pretend. Sorry, I forgot that you are a mistress daughter and not my sister!" Arielle said in a low pitiful tone as she cried but said the last sentence coldly.

"If you can stay there and keep quiet you can leave as you aren't needed here!" Gerald said coldly as he glanced at Luciana making the latter flinch.

"I am sorry Mr Powell, my daughter Luciana didn't mind it. It is just that she is worried about her big sister," Mr Adams hurriedly said when he saw that the matter was escalating and didn't want to offend the young man.

"It is one thing for her to show that she is worried about Aurora and it is another thing for her to claim that Arielle isn't worried. Or does she need to be reminded who she is? After all, as far as I know, Miss Hamilton gave birth to only two daughter, Aurora and Arielle. I never heard that she gave birth to another. I don't want a bastard to ruin my grandson's party!" Old Mrs Powell said coldly as she couldn't tolerate anyone accusing their own people.

Although Arielle wasn't part of the Powell family like Aurora, they knew that she was the only family that Aurora had thus they treated her as if she was their own.

Furthermore, she was the youngest among the young generation and she was very lovable.

Mr Adam's face darkened but didn't dare show his dissatisfaction when he was faced by the old madam. He felt that it were Gerald's words, he would have argued that he didn't respect the elders as he was older than the latter but now.

Also, what he hated most was been reminded of his late wife.

"It seems that our presence and gratitude isn't needed or appreciated here thus we will be on our way. Young master Gerald Powell, we wish you a successful business life," he said as he stood up from his seat preparing to leave.

"Pfft! Who do you think you are? Your family is just a third-rate rich family while we are at the top thus do you think that your presence is the same as the presidents or the four wealthy families? You are so fool of yourself! It seems that your illegitimate daughter really took after you," Mrs Powell said coldly and a mocking smile on her face.

Her words were full of sarcasm and insults thus it made the Adams feel awful. As much as they wanted to retort, there was nothing to refute as what the middle-aged woman said was all true.

If Mr Adam refuted that Luciana wasn't a illegitimate daughter, it would be the same as saying that she wasn't his daughter and didn't want to hurt his daughter whom he loved deeply.

Luciana's face was uglier than Mr Adam's as she couldn't believe what had just happened.

She cussed her father inwardly for what he had done and said.

"Dad," she called out in a low yet wrong tone.

"Let's go," Mr Adam said softly as he looked at her.

"Is it a must we go?" she asked as she didn't want to leave.

The party itself was full of wealthy and young generation men thus she felt that even though she didn't succeed in getting Gerald's attention. She will be able to get another man whose family was higher than hers and Aoron's.

"I…." Mr Adam tried finding the right words to say but couldn't find anything as he had said that they were leaving out of a fit of anger.

"What? Did you say that you and your family are leaving? Then why are you people so shameless?" a woman who was always at odds with Aurora's stepmother asked coldly.

"How can we live when my sister hasn't recovered?" Luciana replied in a soft innocent tone.

"Stop being shameless! My mother only gave birth to me and my sister! You aren't our sister and we don't need your hypocrisy. Kindly leave before I ask the guards to kick you people out as you are making a lot of noise," Arielle's cold voice sounded around the hall taking everyone by surprise and some flinched out of fear.

"Sister? Although I know that you are angry at me Dad, how can you throw us out? Furthermore, this is the Powell's party, not a place for you to joke around and do what you want to do," Luciana said mockingly.

"Oh really? Then let's see!" Arielle said with a smug on her face before she stood up.

"Guards!" she shouted.

In less than two minutes, men in black walked in and everyone could see that one group was the Powell's bodyguards while the others were the ones who Aurora had previously instructed.

"Arielle, you should stop messing around as this isn't home where you can do what you want without listening to anyone," Mr Adam said coldly as he glared at her.

"Sister, Dad is right. You should stop fooling around. After all, although you guys have your bodyguards, there is no way that the Powells will let you do what you want to in their enterprise," Luciana said pretending that she was worried about what would happen to Arielle when she offends the Powells.

When she saw and thought that no one was looking at her, she smirked as she couldn't wait for the Powells to ruin Arielle.

Arielle rolled her eyes and looked at the guards who had walked in ignoring the father-daughter duo making them embarrassed.

Although Arielle knew that what she was doing was wrong, she was never one to suffer when someone attacked her although they weren't at their enterprise.

"I want them out of this place! Also, make sure to ban them from this hotel," she said coldly.
