"Grandad! Why are you so stubborn, let's just leave! We got lucky once, do you think we'll be so fortunate the next time?" Jess tugged on her grandfather's sleeve, alternating her glances between him and the highway.

Doc Phil shook off her grip, "There's something off about that man, I need to make sure he's as far away from Rowan as possible."

Jess couldn't believe her ears. She had thought that her grandfather had learned his lesson after he finally shut down his clinic. She had already booked them tickets to meet up with the rest of her family abroad, her father had guaranteed her grandfather a steady retirement and a stable environment.

Everything was in his cards.

Little did she expect for him to start up a new obsession.

"Rowan is twenty frickin six years old! He can handle himself!" She folded her arms across her stomach. "Why do we have to report this to the police?"
