Impatient man?

A wave of euphoria washed over her. 

"Mr. Impatient man," she narrowed her eyes, "Someday, someone might catch us red-handed," she turned in his arms to face him but was taken aback by what she saw there.

Today there wasn't any softness in his eyes, but an odd kind of intensity. A hunger that made her heart skip a beat.

Something had changed overnight.

 She needed to move his attention away from her face. Away from her body. Her existence.

He must have read her thoughts because his eyes dipped down to her lips.

With a forced chuckle, she raised her hands and started fixing his tie, "I … was discussing… some venue details… with my teammates… and by the way…" she cleared her throat, "Thank you for telling them that I was an important part of their team. This morning, they not only apologized but also… have started working with full throttle."
