Capítulo 394: Chapter 394 Andy's Fear, a Fate That Voldemort Can't Escape

Peter Pettigrew tried to struggle again, but the people in the room obviously would not give him the chance.

In the end, Dumbledore sent a letter to Fudge via Phoenix, explaining the situation of Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew – they had decided to hand Peter Pettigrew over to the Ministry of Magic for trial.

Looking at Peter Pettigrew, who was tied up, Sirius was obviously in a good mood. He tried to bond with Harry, saying, "Harry, you probably don't know this yet, but James once told me..."

Halfway through his sentence, Sirius suddenly couldn't continue.

Before, when he had lived alone at 12 Grimmauld Place, Sirius had made a lot of plans for the future. He wanted to take Harry over to live with him, and he also wanted to take Harry on a trip during the summer holidays.

But when he actually met Harry, Sirius suddenly realised that he had no idea how to get along with Harry.

He was a little nervous.

"Harry!"

Dumbledore looked at Harry and said softly, "Your father and Sirius were very good friends, and their relationship was like that between you and Ron. After you were born, James asked Sirius to be your godfather."

Sirius looked at Harry, hopefully. "Yes, I have a house. It hasn't been used for years, but I've kept it in pretty good condition. I know you're living with your aunt and uncle at the moment, but if you don't want to..."

"That would be wonderful!"

Harry couldn't wait to answer before Sirius could finish his sentence. "Of course, I'd like to move in with you!"

"I'm afraid that's not possible,"

Dumbledore reluctantly dampened Harry's spirits, "Harry, you must live with your aunt's family until you reach adulthood."

"Why?" Harry was a little dissatisfied.

He had longed to move out of his aunt's house, and now that he finally had the opportunity, Harry felt that no reason could stop him from leaving.

That place had never rightfully been his home!

Dumbledore looked deeply into Harry's eyes and slowly explained, "Harry, twelve years ago that night, Voldemort tried to kill you when you were just a baby. Your mother Lily cast a powerful protection spell over you to protect you that night."

"Professor, what kind of spell was that?" Harry asked eagerly.

"It was love, Harry!"

Dumbledore stroked Harry's head and said in a serious tone, "Lily embedded her love for her son into your blood. As long as you call a place with your mother's bloodline your home, Voldemort cannot harm you."

Harry obviously could not accept this explanation.

Andy listened carefully, unwilling to miss a single word Dumbledore said.

The magic cast by Lily on her deathbed had obviously gone beyond the scope of ordinary magic—that power called 'love' had shown its power for the first time.

Love had repelled the killing curse!

If he hadn't known it was true, Andy might have thought it was a fairy tale.

The house was full of noise, and Dumbledore stopped talking about magic, so Andy went out into the yard and looked up at the blue sky.

Love and fate!

This seemed to be the theme of Harry Potter.

Of course, as a children's book, Harry Potter's advocacy of love and fate seemed understandable.

But Andy is now in this world, and naturally, he is a little more wary of the 'theory of fate'.

Prophecy and fate...

Andy has now put together what happened twelve years ago.

It all started with Dumbledore's meeting with Trelawney. Trelawney made a prophecy, one that involved Voldemort's defeat.

Snape was there too, and he heard the first three sentences of the prophecy, which he reported back to Voldemort.

Voldemort decided that the child mentioned in the prophecy was Harry Potter, and Harry was Lily's child. Snape completely sided with Dumbledore to protect Lily from harm.

Next, Sirius changed the Secret Keeper, and Peter Pettigrew betrayed the Potter family.

The story ends with Lily casting the protective magic of love on Harry, which deflects Voldemort's killing curse, but also inadvertently causes Harry to become Voldemort's Horcrux.

This completely binds Harry's fate with Voldemort's.

Andy pressed his temple.

Fate... This was the last thing Andy wanted to hear.

If everyone's fate was predetermined, then there was no point in trying.

"Mr. Collins, you seem a little agitated," Dumbledore's aged voice came from behind him.

"Professor..."

Andy glanced back at Dumbledore, "Do you think that there is an unknown force in the universe that controls our destinies?"

Dumbledore walked over to Andy and looked up at the sky with him, "So, what do you think?"

Andy was silent for a moment.

"I have seen your Death!"

Andy said, "I had a vision when I got the ring."

"I saw you destroy the Horcrux with the sword of Gryffindor and then put the ring on."

"But Harry…"

Andy didn't know where to start.

Twelve years ago, a series of coincidences had led Harry's fate to connect with Voldemort.

This brought a chill to Andy's spine.

Even Voldemort could not escape his fate.

"You fear fate?" Dumbledore asked, looking a little surprised.

"Of course!"

Andy's tone was a little irritated, "No one wants to feel like a puppet, with every move controlled by someone else!"

"If there really is a fate in this world, then Voldemort is innocent! Because the truly guilty one is the one who arranged Voldemort's fate."

"'He' made Voldemort do those bad things!"

Dumbledore fell silent upon hearing this.

Andy's words sounded like a bit of a rhetorical argument, but if you thought about it carefully, they weren't necessarily without reason.

If Voldemort was just a puppet of fate, was he then guilty?

If someone killed someone with a knife, people would only find the person holding the knife guilty, not the knife.

If fate really exists, then Voldemort is the knife in fate's hand. It was fate that made him the Dark Lord, and it was fate that made him do those bad things, and he couldn't help it.

Dumbledore was silent for a moment, and then suddenly asked, "If I will die because of that ring, Mr Collins... do you think you changed fate, or did fate control you?"

Andy couldn't answer this question, and could only choose to remain silent.

Dumbledore continued: "Collins, do you know why I like Gryffindor?"
