Capítulo 4: I'm Now A Mother Of Cute Four-Year-Old Twins

"I don't want you to cry or think of aborting the baby. Your first child, who is innocent and knows nothing. I know how hard it is to be a mother with no father, but you can be the best mother for your baby. Why not think about how our mother gave birth to us too? If they were cruel, you know, you wouldn't be here today, even though your mom is late. Please rethink and just accept your destiny, and the baby in your womb may be the one to fill you with happiness and joy. So please don't abort the baby," Suzy said, sounding comforting, even though she had thoughts she didn't know how to comfort in a situation like this. But she tried to convince Rosalina not to abort the baby.

Rosalina cried as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Am I just going to be a mother just like that with no father?" Rosalina said with tears as she sniffed.

"Trust me, you can do this, okay?" Suzy said also in tears.

Rosalina nodded and hugged her, crying.

"Don't cry, or your baby will be sad to feel in the womb that mommy is crying," Suzy said, making Rosalina smile through her tears.

"Let's talk about how you're going to take care of yourself during your pregnancy, okay?" Suzy said.

"I'll just fly out of the country for the time being, maybe that can also refresh my brain. I know you have a lot to take care of in your life too, especially since you are always busy with work and your workaholic boss," Rosalina said softly.

"I don't want you to go through this alone. Just come back to Jeju so I can look after you. Even if I'm busy with work, I can create time or just leave work for now," Suzy said calmly.

"No, you don't need that. You should not stop working because of me. Besides, I want to leave the country to refresh my brain. I want to forget all this crazy sad story and live afresh. I don't even need to find out who my biological father is or meet some grandparents. I can just be fine with my baby as long as I have you," Rosalina said with a soft smile.

"But how are you going to live alone with no one to help you or know anyone in a strange country where you have no family there?" Suzy said, looking a bit concerned.

"Going to California. You know I spent 4 years studying and living there one more year after my graduation, so I know some people there, and besides, I'll hire help, so, don't worry too much about that," Rosalina said with a smile on her face.

Suzy knew that if she continued to argue, she wouldn't win because when Rosalina made up her mind, no one could change it.

"Okay, fine. But promise me you'll always call if you have problems or something bothering you," Suzy said, looking a bit sad.

"What's with the long face? Okay, I promise. Just trust me on this," Rosalina said, pouting her lips.

"Okay. So, when are you planning to leave?" Suzy asked.

"After you leave here to resume your work in Jeju, I'll start making arrangements for the travel," Rosalina said.

"Okay then," Suzy said and hugged her.

Four years and some months later…

"Mom, are we going to see Daddy?" Joon-Ah, the four-year-old girl, said sharply. She was also three minutes older than her twin brother Joon Woo, who was also four years old.

Roselina looked at the little girl and sighed softly before bending down to her level.

"Baby, I have told you, you don't have a daddy. I'm sorry I have not been a good mother to provide you with a father, but I'm also helpless. Do you want Mommy to be sad?" Rosalina said to the little girl, who looked at her mother and blinked her lashes several times.

"No, Mommy, I don't want you to be sad. I was just asking why we're going to Korea," the little four-year-old Joon-Ah said, looking a bit sad.

"Your aunt Suzy's wedding is coming up, so we need to be there for her. That's why we're flying to Korea," Rosalina said softly to her little daughter and lightly pinched her cheek.

"Okay, Mommy, I missed Aunt Suzy so much after the last time she came here," Joon-Ah said happily and hugged her mother, who also hugged her back.

"What's wrong, Joon-Woo?" Rosalina asked as she noticed the little boy sitting alone with his textbook.

"Nothing, Mommy, I'm good with whatever and wherever you're going. I don't need to be childish like Joon-Ah, who is so talkative," the little boy said with his usual serious demeanor.

Joon Woo has always wanted to prove that he is more mature than his sister, sometimes causing arguments between the two about who is older and more mature.

Joon Woo is also the little boy with an aura that his mom sometimes wonders where he has taken such a mood and aura from.

Rosalina shook her head and walked over to him, taking the small textbook from his hands.

"You act more mature than your age. I want you to act like the cute four-year-old boy you are, okay? You don't need to be like that to your sister and your mommy, alright?" Rosalina said calmly to him.

"Okay, Mommy," he said, nodding his head as Rosalina pulled him into a hug.

"Come on, get up now. We have to leave, or we'll miss the flight," Rosalina said with a soft smile, as the butler walked in with a smile, fluently speaking English and informing Rosalina that the car was ready to drive them to the airport.

"Okay, thank you, Mr. Andrew," Rosalina replied, her English cute and fluent.

"Hey, kiddos, don't disturb mommy, okay?" Mr. Andrew said, ruffling Joon Woo's hair.

"Yes, Mr. Andrew, we'll miss you," the kids said, as their mother held their hands, walking out of the house to the awaiting car that would drive them to the airport.

"Boss, there's news I want to share with you," Lee Gu Won's PA said as he entered Gu Won's office to report some issues concerning the company.

"Just go ahead with whatever you want to say. Should I wait for you to tell me when to talk again?" Gu Won said coldly, concentrating on the file he was going through.

"About Ms. Yoona. I bumped into her today with two kids that look so much like you," Assistant Dae Hyun said, causing Gu Won to stop what he was doing and look at him with a shocked expression.

"Some years back, you told me she left the country after reporting about her to me. How come she's back with two kids?" Gu Won said, looking surprised.

"I think after what happened to her recently, finding out the man her mom married wasn't her biological father, which I think also made her drunk at a club she went to. She was drunk and ended up spending the night in your room. In my point of view, your night with her got her pregnant and was the reason she left the country. If you don't mind, sir, would you like me to find out more about her to be sure of my suspicions? Those kids seem like twins, and one of them looks so much like you. They are a boy and a girl," Assistant Dae Hyun said.

Gu Won was silent for a while before nodding his head.

"Report everything about her and find all means to get me pictures of the two kids. You have just 24 hours to give me detailed feedback about everything," Gu Won said with a cold command tone.

"Okay, boss," Assistant Dae Hyun said and left after bowing.

Gu Won could not concentrate on what he was doing anymore.

"I can't deny what he said wasn't true because I've been having a weird dream about a baby," he thought as he finished his work and left the office to attend a meeting about company matters.

"📞Hey, we just arrived at the hotel suite," Rosalina said softly as she settled down in her hotel, the Royal Land

Hotel.

"📞Wow, why didn't you tell me you were arriving today? I would have come to pick you up instead. You surprised me, though," Suzy exclaimed upon hearing Rosalina's news.

"📞Of course, I wanted to surprise you. We arrived 2 hours ago, but I took my kids out to a shopping mall to pick up some snacks for them. Just getting back to the hotel suite," Rosalina said, smiling.

"📞Oh yeah, I'll drive down there as early as tomorrow. I can't wait to see your cute twin kids," Suzy said, sounding excited on the phone.

"📞They'll be so happy to see you too. Joon-Ah was so happy to hear that they'll meet you again after the last time you visited us in California," Rosalina said, hearing the kids fighting over some snacks.

"📞Let me call you back; these troublesome kids have

started fighting over snacks again," Rosalina said and hung up as she ran to them.

"What's wrong with you two? There are a lot of snacks on the table; why are you fighting over one snack?" Rosalina said, frowning at them.

"I took this first, but she wouldn't let me eat it," Joon Woo said with a hard glare.

"Don't fight over it, okay? And I have always told you to share things, no matter what it is. Never be stingy and selfish with each other. You are brother and sister, okay? Promise me from today henceforth, you'll always share?" Rosalina said, lecturing them and asking them to promise to be good to each other.

"Okay, Mommy, we promise," the two kids said, stretching their tiny fingers for a pinky promise.

"Pinky promise," their mother said, linking her pinky finger with theirs.

The kids nodded and ate quietly, and happily afterward.

"I'm now a mother of cute four-year-old twins." Rosalina thought with a smile on her face.
