Capítulo 5: Myself
One of the three Martial Arts and Methodology High Schools in the nation of Entera. This important landmark not only offers education, but also acts as a mission mediator and general support system for the Martial Arts and Methodology community.
"This place isn't that out of ordinary, I would say that this structure is just less common or you are reacting this way because it's your first time seeing here." Yagami explains. He then continues speaking, "Originally entering this type of school is not easy. Even if you get invited, you have to pass multiple tests not only physically but also exams. However, you are an exception. I would say...you are quite the anomaly~" He smirks after saying that and turns his head to the entrance of the school. They head to the entrance and walk in just to see the headmistress and other school staff waiting on their arrival. The headmistress begins to speak with a slightly irritated tone. "You guys are...late". Yagami sighs and responds, "It was only like 5 minutes, cut me some slack, it isn't a big deal Headmistress Micha. Micha then looks over at where Yose is standing then asks, "This is the half human half dog I kept hearing about?" Yose not knowing how to respond immediately responds with slight stuttering, "P-Pleasure to meet y-you! My name is Yose, Yose the Eggdog." Headmistress Micha scratches the back of her head and asks a simple question. "Are you worthy enough to be standing in front of me?" Yose takes a step back momentarily and asks, "Worthy? I...came here because of the king's order." Micha adjusts her glasses and asks once again, "Do you have a goal in life?". Yose responds without waiting and says, "As I sai-" his words gets cut short and Micha continues, "Do you have a goal in life?" Yose looks down for a moment and answers, "Right now, no." Headmistress Misha asks once again, "Do you have a goal in life?".
Yose replies, "No, miss." Headmistress Misha sighs and asks another question, "So you are only doing things that you are being told without any goals?" Yose responds, "Yes...miss." Misha takes off her glasses and raises his voice. "You failed to pass the initial test." She starts talking once again. "I am aware of your situation. But let me ask just one thing, will you be content wasting your life for someone else's goals?" She then activates his technique with a handsign.
"Hit yourself as hard as you can." Yose's right arm starts to move on it's own and shortly after punches himself in the face full force. Making him lose balance and fall to the ground. Without losing time gets back up. "People tend to be more honest when they are desperate. I will not stop until you tell me what you actually want." This won't stop until she hears what I actually want? What the hell!
Yagami smiles as he watches this unfold and walks over to sit down on a nearby chair.
"Hit yourself" Yose's right arm begins to move again but he holds it back with his left arm just for his left arm to betray his own will and hit himself right in the chin. The headmistress says with an angry tone, "When you die, are you going to hold the King responsible? Shouldn't the responsibility be placed on your own weakness?" Yose looks at her right in the eyes and responds. "Your words are far from pleasant, Headmistress Micha" Micha replies, "Realizations are necessary, wouldn't you think so too?" "I...I'm awa-" Micha speaks cutting Yose's words short, "Hit yourself." This time around Yose lets himself get hit realizing that it's pointless to try and avoid the hits. "I'll ask one more time, what is your goal in life?" I've always been good at helping people, making them happy. I never realized that I didn't have to obey what they said, only do what they told me to do. Even if it costed my life, I would still try to help them without asking anything in return. No matter what happened to me, I still wouldn't hold them accountable for what happened to me. I would blame myself and myself only. Yose begins to speak out loud.
"I am not sure what type of mindset I would have in a near death situation but...I refuse to submit to anyone's will and will carve my own path as long as I am alive." Both Yagami and Headmistress Micha smiles after hearing this. "Yagami, show him to his dorm." Headmistress Micha turns her head back to Yose and continues speaking, "Welcome to Entera Martial Arts and Methodology, you pass." Yose's starts to smile brightly and walks to the Headmistress to shake her hand and does just that. Yagami responds, "Right, leave it to me."
