Mc will be a root trainee in a special program, it's similar to the white room in Classroom of the Elite, failing will probably mean death.
The timeline is the same as the Naruto gen but Mc got transmigrated in a body 5 years older than the Naruto generation on the day of the Nine-Tails incident... Romance? Maybe but later in the story, Harem? will see but probably not, so don't get your hopes up.
I am not gonna dump information all at once, in fact, I will give it in a subtle manner, at least try to.
Update schedule will be erratic and chapter lengths are 1.5k+ in the least.
Read the auxiliary chapter or serially the first one to have an idea of what to expect from the story.

(Review based on the first volume of this novel) MC: A smart character who yearns to challenge himself both mentally and physically, even if it means risking his life where his wishes are the most underwhelming I have ever seen. Plot: If you enjoy the concept of Root, then this novel is a rare treat to indulge on. The first volume shows the process of their training and the stages they must complete to become Root members. Side characters: They are honestly undeveloped, which is understandable, as not much is explored about them yet. Battles: The battles are really good and varied; no two fights are the same. Writing quality: Unless you are picky English native or someone who is very good at English, the writing quality is satisfactory enough. Update schedule: The author writes periodically, so there isn’t a fixed schedule; sometimes we may have to wait for a while. Overview: It’s honestly a breath of fresh air compared to other archetypes/themes I have seen recently in Narito fanfic, so I recommend at least reading the first volume, which totals 19.2K words.
