The epic battle ended.
The dark sky cleared, and a ray of dawn shone through the ceiling onto the ruins of R'lyeh, where Camilla lay weakly.
Although Tiga had defeated Camilla, the audience couldn't bring themselves to hate her.
Why?
Because of Camilla's well-crafted character.
Even after being sealed for 30 million years, she still loved Tiga. When the seal was lifted, she saw that Tiga was with another woman, which filled her with jealousy and anger, leading to a fierce battle with him.
She truly loved Tiga deeply but could not transform her dark power into light like Tiga. In her final moments, she expressed her feelings to Daigo: "I once... longed for the light too."
Her words, full of sorrow, moved many in the audience. She was the source of Tiga's dark power yet longed for the light, longing to stand with Tiga instead of being his enemy, but she failed.
In past stories, Camilla might have been seen sinking into the sea with R'lyeh, holding Daigo's hand tightly.
But Ren didn't go this route.
Because, in Ren's view, there were some flaws in this story, such as when Camilla first appeared, and Daigo immediately recognized her name! This was Daigo, not the ancient Tiga! Daigo only inherited Tiga's body and combat skills, so why would he have those memories?
So, Ren made some adjustments.
Just as Daigo was about to take Camilla's hand, a shadow emerged from Daigo's body. Although shrouded in light, Camilla instantly recognized it: "Daigo…"
