"And yet..." the voice began again, this time lower, more ominous, "you found yourself here. Not by chance, but by fate. You stand in the Court of Orcus, a place not meant for the living, yet you have crossed its threshold."

Chris felt his heart skip a beat at the name again.

Orcus—the punisher of broken oaths.

The weight of what the figure was implying sank in.

Chris's mind raced as he stood before the shadowy figure on the throne.

His heart pounded not just from the fear of being in the underworld, but from his internal monologue—a mixture of frustration and fear.

I acted like that, because, I knew this damned Orcus was watching everyone inside that cave and ths underworld.
