Initially drowsy, Uchiha Sogetsu felt momentarily disoriented, then abruptly regained clarity. Before him sprawled the bustling streets, people hurrying past, and the steel skyscrapers reaching towards the sky—all a vivid return to the past.
Sunrise and sunset, the motion of stars.
Familiar faces walked by, yet treated him as a stranger, indifferent to his presence.

Then, he broke free from the dream, which resembled a vast bubble, and gazed downward at the "Island of consciousness" from a higher vantage point. The gentle ripples stirred waves, revealing the boundless, shimmering, unfathomable ocean of illusions.
This was the sea of collective subconsciousness!
