Capítulo 81: Semis

After the second round, the four chosen that were still in the race to the top were given a few hours to rest.

While most had decided to leave and go recuperate within their own private chambers, Adonis remained seated on his throne of ice, his eyes closed.

His body now seemed to exude a natural form of pressure that forced all to their knees, the world included.

He'd learnt a lot during these battles, all he needed now was to digest all his gains.

'Nadia, what's that ring that appeared at my back? And what happened to my halo?'

'You can't even tell me that much?'

[Sorry, master.]

Adonis sighed then ignored the issue, moving on to another of his thoughts.

'Should I sacrifice all the experience I've snatched so far or should I wait…?'

The experience he'd gathered since the last time he'd made a sacrifice was terrifying. He was sure to both have a qualitative and quantitative evolution in his path.
