"No one's bullying anyone." Sasha studies Wesley closely. "Your father wants me and everyone in my family dead. Tell me, Wesley. Would you want someone like that in your family?"

"I am not my father. And if it helps, I hate my father." Sweat breaks out of Wesley's face and his breathing picks up. "I'm not like them. That's why I left. They hated that I was nothing like them, and they constantly berated me for it. I don't know how else I can convince you, but I'm nothing like them." He says in a hoarse voice.

"How can we be sure?" Sasha insists.

"I don't know. I don't know  know how I can prove anything else to you."

"You don't have to prove anything to him." I hug Wesley and glare angrily at my brother.

"You have to. If you want my blessing."
