Isaac had arrived inside the inn and with the help of the several beautiful ladies who worked there, he was able to move his items very fast, keeping them safely in the store room as Madam Tai had wanted it to be.
It was easy for Isaac to move around inside the inn since he was familiar with the place. He was, after all, the former manager of the inn before his friend, Kim, took over after his resignation thanks to his marriage to Alicia alongside his relocation to Bambara village with her.
Isaac had gone upstairs and at this point, he was staring at a familiar door with a smile etched on his face. He rubbed the nameplate on the door gently and smiled even more.
He was happy, not for himself but for his friend, Kim.
"Manager Kim," Isaac read out. "It sure sounds nicer than Manager Winters or Manager Isaac."
Isaac sighed with disappointment. "None of my names are suited to sound well with such prefixes."
Knock. Knock.
