Capítulo 104: A Chamber

The oppressive silence started to pressing in on him. Fortunately, Ethan keep his Soul Sense remained heightened, constantly scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. Even though he still didn't encounter any monsters he can feel them watching.

Ethan never imagined that he would feel slightly entertained by the presence of creatures lusting after his blood.

The unsettling stillness and the absence of threats felt almost unnatural, as if the temple itself was merely observing his progress. The presence of the monsters that his Soul Sense detected reassured him that it wasn't that there was no threat he couldn't sense, but rather that they simply didn't want to reveal themselves yet.

Turning another corner, Ethan found himself in a narrow passage that opened into a small chamber.

The air grew colder again. Now its three time colder than the world outside this tempple. The faint hum of magical energy more pronounced. Ethan knew he had entered an important part of this temple.
