Capítulo 187: Is It Really You?

Claire's heart broke a little more with each word, but she nodded. She had known anything could happen when she realized he had amnesia and had tried not to fall for him so she wouldn't be heartbroken but years passed and he didn't regain his memory and they had fallen in love.

Now he had regained his memory after bumping into his firmer wife. What was she to do now? Despite her own pain, she couldn't stop herself from asking, "Do you... still love her?"

Mr. Lopez didn't answer immediately. He didn't need to. The silence spoke volumes.

Taking a deep breath, Claire stood up from her chair, steeling herself for what she had to do. She walked out of the hospital room and found Ruby near the waiting area, pacing around anxiously.

"Mom? Is Dad awake?" Ruby asked, when she turned and saw her mom, concern etched on her face.

"Yes, he's awake," Claire replied, her voice steady, despite the turmoil inside.
