As the day drew to a close, the sun cast a warm golden hue through the windows of the office. Fiona and Liam had just finished tidying up their desks, both ready to leave the day's work behind to go home.

Although Liam wanted nothing but to spend a relaxing weekend together with Fiona, Fiona had insisted they go home, saying they should learn to give each other some space.

They walked side by side toward the exit, their hands brushing occasionally as they made their way through the bustling office corridors.

The building was abuzz with the sounds of people wrapping up their day. Phones ringing with final calls, papers being shuffled into neat stacks, and colleagues exchanging their last words before the weekend.

Fiona and Liam exchanged amused glances as they stepped into the elevator, silently appreciating the fact that the workday was finally over.
