Capítulo 17: Upside Down World
An old apartment in a small, unremarkable town. A group of inhabitants occupy a room. An old, bald man with thick eyeglasses reads a newspaper until something drips on his head.
"Jesus Mary, oh Mary, it's blood! Blood!" he shouts.
"Stop being a drama queen," says Marie, a large woman resembling a walrus. "It's just a drop of water from the rain outside."
"Dammit!" he exclaims, slamming his hand on the table. He yelps in pain, having hit it too hard. "We need to get that fixed!"
As soon as the words leave his mouth, a young girl with pigtails appears. "Don't worry, I'll handle it," she says confidently. She takes her brother by the arm and they head off, while the older folks place a bucket under the leak to prevent further dripping.
The siblings head downstairs and jump into a hole to access the repairs. They encounter their rival there.
"Oh look who it is!" smirks the blonde bully. He's about to make a sarcastic remark when the girl storms past him, dragging her brother along.
"Hey, you little runts! I'll be the first to use it!" shouts the blonde. They all scramble into the elevator.
The girl taps her foot impatiently, waiting for the doors to open. She glares at the blonde with annoyance.
He brother says "I just ate, I can't—"
The doors slide open, and she grabs him by the wrist, dragging him out. They sprint down a hallway and burst through a door. Glancing back, she sees the blonde is nowhere in sight.
The girl leaps down a slide with her brother, sliding down until they reach a vault.
"This is the wrong place!" she exclaims. They struggle to climb back up, finally reaching the correct entrance. There, they see the blond bully, but thankfully, he enters the wrong door.
The pair reaches the right entrance, punches in the code, retrieves the tool they need, and return to their elders.
A wave of the magic wand fixes the crack in the ceiling.
The blonde arrives at the doorway. "My turn."
"Nope! I still have 15 minutes left," the girl replies, winking at him.
