Capítulo 101: Nuclear Mage vs Time Mage

A rainbow haze of magical colours poured from his hands as it flashed on and off like light itself. Almost like the rainbow bridge from Asgard within Marvel his spell unleashed onto the exterior of the city's shield. My Chaos bolts speckled his form as entire chunks of his body was eradicated. Even with such lethal damage being dealt to the man his perseverance was unaffected.
"Come back when you are at the same level as me!" His raspy injured voice barely emerged from beneath the screeching metallic sound of his magic striking my arranged aegis around the city. Like water rippling on the surface of a lake my shield quivered under the raw primordial power of Fission. Small holes started to be punctures as my magicules shivered from the bombardment of radiation.
"Oh? I am lesser than you? LET US SEE!" Pissed off utterly at his ridiculous penchant for dribbling nonsense and of course his reckless use of Fission-based magics, I spread out all of my magic and concentrated on repairing the damage to the shield. The good side of the entire engagement was that the shield itself was sucking the radiation into the demi-plane maze. Many soldiers and enemies currently boiling alive as their own mage was causing it.
|Syphoning Maze of Solaris has been infected with Radioactive Isotopes, The Spell is being imbued with Nuclear Magic... The Spell has embraced the new element and will now create a gas-like atmosphere that will be filled with said substance. Shield that holds this spell will now be immune to Fission based magics.|
In an instant the magicules I was directing outwards in maintaining the shield flowed up in a golden-black haze before raining back down onto me, my MP being subsumed back into myself. Razen's eyes bulged blood dripping from his mouth as ice has frozen his hair, fire consuming his left leg's clothes and skin as space itself was clawing at his movements with a hungry desperation to it.
"Impossible...!" My grin expanded as my golden eyes flashed. He wasn't stunned however and started to pelt the shield with his strongest magic. Sporadic colours and mixes struck the shield before slowly shipping away at it. Yes my shield was strong but this segment was only powered by a single tree and thus the shield fell. With all barriers struck down I and Razen finally came face to face, both of us completely emotionless at this stage. Moments passed in intense staring and measurement, both of us wanting to find some advantage in our opponent's garb or look. He began to pull something out from beneath his long robes as I reached out into space and summoned the staff of power I had received in the past.

Razen didn't even let me have a moment of peace as he pulled out a small sceptre of his own, the item itself made from obsidian substance and a silver gem. Within moments we both charged our own spells. His a pure black and white beam, my own a super-charged Cyclonic Tempest vertexing with white and green energy. Time slowed for a few seconds as his face slowed, my eyes filling with golden light, a light I failed to see through.
"Haha, good. You have reached the stage where I could most likely see you... Once you are finished, meet me in the space between realities." The gold disappeared as my spell was already launched, time around me still slowed with the only exception being the spell I had struck out with. In an instant a tempestral rift of wind and lightning consumed my adversary's body. To everyone else it looked as if we were both readying ourselves for a confrontation. The enemy forces were rushing towards us as my infantry sprinted towards me with P210s in hand.
Then in a massive flash of golden light my spell had already struck my opponent and his body was disintegrated, his soul scooped up by my Soul Syphoning spell. No resurrection for him, no solace in his fail-safes, just the calm embrace of being consumed by the spell for my own purposes. Numerous was not a word that could begin to describe the sheer amount of souls I had collected this day... Within two hours of combat I had already slain 500,000 soldiers. 500,000 Souls reaped and lives ruined, families disintegrated and children left to cry. His corpse dropped to the ground an ashy husk of what used to be a human. In this instant as his corpse fell I felt a pain unlike anything I had experience within both my lives.

No time passed between me feeling the unimaginable pain of the 'evolution' and getting out from under its insidious claws. All around me time was stopped, as if someone had pressed a pause button on a video within my past life. All around me sword made of pure gold and shadow emerged from the ground, the points of the blades cracking space with their sharpness. Wisps of light began to flow off of them the blades rose higher. In the midst of this 'hall' of blades emerged an hourglass surrounded by a clock. The clock was made of pure silver and white, the hands still for several second until the minute hand swung down a single mark. Light, light so pure that the sun would struggle to compete swallowed the entire battlefield before me. Then, silence.
Blinking my eyes the entire scene vanished as in but a moment all of the soldiers were cut down into small fleshy cadavers. Blood sprayed and matted the floor of the forest as crimson seeped into every crevasse and nook.
'...'
Time resumed now as my soldiers all ran up behind me, guns slung down near their stomachs as they gazed out in horror at the tens of thousands of dead soldiers that had been alive but a second ago from their perception.
"Silvi! Are you okay!?"
