The last thing I expected to see was Amelie speaking to Michael, but then again it was to be expected. She had seen me with Antonio, and the first thing she opted to do after that was run to Michael Black and spill the tea about that day. I thought we were friends, but clearly that wasn't the case. Amelie had made her choice, and she had chosen her obsession for Antonio over our friendship.

I took a deep breath before approaching the conversing duo, a practiced smile spread across my face.

"Amelie, I didn't know you'd be coming to the party tonight. How has it been going?" I inquired with my face still beaming with a bright smile.
