Somewhere in the island of Crescere, Abraham gazed upon Laplace who stood in the middle of an empty grassland with her eyelids closed. In front of her was the Director of the R&D Department, who had begun her training and learning for the art of magicraft.

"I can't believe she dragged me with her." He quietly grumbled while staring at the beautiful dragoness shrouded in silence. Though, it's not like he could fault her. After all, she simply wants him to be around when her guard was down.

'She rarely lower her guard down. The only time I remember her lowering it was when...' A tint of crimson red flushed on his cheeks, prompting him to shake his head, ridding himself of such thoughts. 

At any rate, Abraham was the only one that Laplace trusted to lower her guard around. And that trust wasn't to be underestimated. After all, she had just been betrayed by those she trusted and her organization, the Revolting Tide.
