Title - The Ruthless Life of a Wandering God 1

Leucadius POV

Once upon a time, when I was just a human in a reality that birthed so many other realities, I always wondered why lucky and fortunate Humans, reincarnated into a Fantasy reality, would always try to be involved in the happenings of said Reality.

I understood that most of them did it because they were coincidentally caught up in the machinations of certain individuals already existing in that reality; some, however, would intentionally meddle.

An example was one where a human reincarnated into a similar Marvel Universe as Baldur. Ignoring his princehood and the many opportunities it presented him, he decided to come down to earth and build a human Kingdom so advanced that its only match was Wakanda.

I wasn't criticizing the Creator or the Protagonist, but I didn't see myself doing something of that level…at least, until now.

During this period (793 AD), the region of Israel was part of the Islamic Caliphate, specifically under the rule of the Abbasid Caliphate, which had its capital in Baghdad.

The Abbasid Caliphate was a period of significant cultural, scientific, and economic development in the Islamic world. However, the region itself faced various degrees of turmoil, including local rebellions and power struggles.

With its capital at Baghdad, the Abbasids controlled a vast empire that included the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Central Asia. The Byzantine Empire, to the northwest of Israel, encompassed parts of modern-day Turkey and the Balkans.

The Byzantine Empire was a significant power in the region, although it faced constant pressure from Islamic forces and internal strife. By 793 AD, it had experienced both periods of decline and resurgence.

There was also the Umayyad Emirate of Córdoba in modern-day Spain. Although geographically distant, the Umayyads in Córdoba represented the western extent of Islamic rule in Europe. They were contemporaries of the Abbasids and often in competition with them.

There's the Kingdom of Nubia to the south of Egypt, in modern-day Sudan. Nubia was a Christian kingdom during this period. It maintained a degree of autonomy despite the surrounding Islamic influence.

The Carolingian Empire in Western Europe, primarily modern-day France and Germany, was ruled by Charlemagne. The Carolingian Empire was one of the most powerful Christian kingdoms of the time, expanding its influence across much of Western Europe.

The sun was setting as I arrived at the war-torn region of Israel. Smoke curled from the remnants of what used to be homes, now reduced to rubble. The cries of the wounded and the dying filled the air, mingling with the scent of blood and burning wood. This place had seen better days, but all I could see now was suffering and chaos.

To think that the land promised to Abraham had become like this… At least I fulfilled my promises to him. No human dynasty is Eternal after all. With Yeshua being born from Abraham's lineage, I had no stain in my Nature.

Wandering through the desolation, I sensed the presence of numerous children, hiding among the ruins, lost and scared. My heart ached for them. They were destined to die within a year without any form of Divine intervention.

This was my region, which was funny since my religion has practically been spread to a third of the planet, making those areas my region too. Not that I'm concerned about that. In due time, humans would claim those lands to be theirs after all.

It was however, at this moment that my mind decided, unilaterally, on its own, decided to give me an idea. One that I couldn't push away due to how curious it made me.

The idea was…What is you could make Natural Super Soldiers and set them up to become Israel's Shadow Royal Family.

The idea was so intriguing that my mind consciously began coming up with way to make that possible. The concept of Super Soldier was something that the future humans would think as actually Super.

However, the generation of humanity before the flood was far more super than the Captain will ever be. Physically, Intellectuals and Physiologically.

Following my Curse though, they began to deteriorate.

I wasn't about to go breaking my own Curse. No. Far from that. I was about to push their current physique to the peak of what Is currently possible, not in a lab, not through trials and errors, but by survival of the fittest.

It was a cruel thought, considering I was God, but alas…

With a wave of my hand, I cloaked myself in a veil of invisibility and began to gather the children. A simple spell had them fall unconscious without even understanding what was going on.

One by one, I did this and collected them in my palm using a technique I picked up from the Xians, [Universe in the Palm]. It was a convenient technique where a temporary pocket dimension is created in the palm of your hand in which both living and nonliving things can be stored.

In total, I gathered over 500 children, ranging in age from nine to teenagers. They were weak, malnourished, and traumatized, but they were alive.

After gathering the few that would surely meet a painful and uneventful death in the span of a year, I teleported to the only familiar place in the entirety of the known Israel - Mount Sinai.

This experiment was straight out of fantasy, but I wanted to make it reality. The Reaper of Drifting Moon taught me that. I could make the best Assassin affiliated with one of the Ancient Organization Earth would have recorded in their annals.

Placing a hand on the Mountain that spammed 2000+ meters above sea level and 700 in prominence. A blue print design of the training area was formed in my head, and with a surge of my Cosmic Energy, it was formed.

All forms of matter in the way were all disintegrated or recycled into making the underground station come to life. The underground station was vast, stretching across cavernous spaces carved out beneath Mount Sinai.

My design incorporated both natural cave formations and meticulously crafted chambers and tunnels. The architecture combines was simple yet much more advanced than the current ones.

I also created magical enchantments placed throughout the city to ensure a continuous flow of fresh air. These enchantments draw in air from aboveground through discreet vents and purify it as it circulates through the tunnels.

There was a limited but sustainable water supply is managed through a combination of magical reservoirs and purification systems. Underground springs and collected rainwater will be stored and distributed strategically to meet the station's needs

As for lighting…there was none.

I intended to train them to be assassins. What assassin is Trained in a well lit environment? That's right…None.

Along with the Magical enchantment placed to ensure air circulation, there was an enchantment placed to double the gravity of the station. So from the moment the kids awaken, they'll be forced to move at double their body's weight.

Being an assassin wasn't always about speed and a lack of presence, there should also be fine and well maintained body and muscular structure. Hunter X Hunter taught me That.

With each year spent here for the next five years, there will be an increase in the G-Force. Anyone accepted into this training camp will have to go through the same treatment.

??? POV.

I'm sure my eyes are open… I haven't been blinded. I'm in the darkness. And not only that, a pitch-black space without a single ray of light in sight. Where is this place?

"ARGHHHH!!#" I screamed out my lungs just from trying to stand up. What's with that pain? I can't move an inch. I can't even muster any strength.

Breathing heavily while trying to make sense of my surroundings, I couldn't stop the tears that fell from my eyes. "Why did this happen?"

On that road earlier. That man…

"You look pitiful…" he had said.

He must have something to do with why I'm in a place like this. But I don't know his name or who he is. Why did he trap me here? I don't remember earning any grudges.

Then…he must have some sort of goal. Not to kill me, but some other goal.

'My name is Ayla and I am Fourteen. My father was…hah. I didn't even know him but my mother was Elara…It's too dark.' The young boy thought to himself.

'Did I lose consciousness? Or was I awake this whole time? I don't know how much time has passed. I'm scared and lonely. I have no choice but to remind myself of who I am to stay sane.'

'My name is Ayal…'

'But… for now long…?'

'I am Hungry. I'll die from starvation at this rate. I'll either die from starvation or insanity.'

'Did he want to starve me to death?'

'At least, I can no move my head a bit.'

'What did I do wrong to deserve this…? I didn't beg the man for anything.'

'…Then why? Why is he…' At this point, the young boy was already biting his lips so hard that he bled while glaring into the darkness.

'Even if I'm just some beggar with nothing to my name, there's no reason for him to throw me into this hell!'

"Hmm?" The boy hummed in surprise as he turned his head towards his right hand which he'd unconsciously moved in his moment of anger. 'I can move my hand.'

"Haa-Haa-Haa-"

'I can breathe a lot easier now, too.' he thought as he continued to take in deep breaths of air. 'My bodily senses are returning!' he exclaimed internally.

Sniff. Sniff

'A damp smell.'

Shuffling, he managed to get his right foot to tilt to the side while he turned his hand around.

'The ground is cold.'

'I am underground.'

*Pllp* *Plop*

The sound of droplets of water falling into a larger body of water immediately reached his ears.

'The sounds of water drops!' He thought in excitement. 'I have to drink!' he thought as he grit his teeth and try to force himself to stand only for his knees to dislocate.

"HUURRGGHHH!!'' Gritting his teeth, he let out a muffled scream, undeterred by the pain though, he turned his entire body around and began moving towards the sound with his belly to the ground.

'I CAN DO IT..! JUST A LITTLE MORE!' However, a few baby steps later, he was forced back to the ground due to the heaviness. Still breathing heavily while shivering from both the pain exerted on his body and his dislocated knee, he thought. 'I HAVE TO SURVIVE!' and with eyes brimming with determination, 'I'M GOING TO SURVIVE!!'

Upon reaching the source of the noise, he found a small puddle of water right under a wall-like structure which he immediately drank from. With his thrist sated, he placed his hand on the wall and managed to prop himself up by a bit.

'A stone wall? It's rock-solid.' he thought as he caressed the wall. Upon finding a small opening, he attempted to break it apart with his finger only for his nails to be ripped off his finger.

Due to the recoil from the pain, he found himself on the floor once again with his back to the ground while grunting in pain. Still, having drank water for the first time in a long while, "Phew." he let out a satisfied sigh, and closing his eyes, he fell asleep.
