Julus, who had been dismissed from the meeting at the very beginning, returned to the inn used as a base by the two teams of white mages controlling the Arkeöns floating in the skies above Hector.

"Is he already back? Was the discussion that quick?"

"Of course it was quick. Who would say no to a proposal from the most powerful family in the world?"

While the two mages guarding the inn entrance they had requisitioned chuckled among themselves, Julus walked past them without even sparing them a glance. As a council member now, he considered himself far above them to bother with even a nod of acknowledgment.

He continued his way and finally arrived at the inn's restaurant, the only place that could accommodate the forty or so members of the two mage teams.

He sat at one of the free tables and ordered some wine.
