Capítulo 1: Marcus Grayson
Marcus Grayson, the Eldest son of Nolan Grayson aka Omni-man the strongest hero in the world, woke up to something he didn't expect. He was floating up to the Ceiling. He remembered what his dad told him about his powers coming in one day when he was in his teens, but he didn't expect to get them at just 10-years-old. Trying to move around he was surprised at how easy it was to move. Flying back down was easier than he expected.
"I have powers. I have powers! I finally got my powers!" He was ecstatic, after all, who wouldn't want to have powers. 'Do I have super strength though? Dad said I should when I get my powers. Maybe I should try to lift something?' He thought to himself, looking around he decided to lift his bed.
Walking over to his bed he puts one hand on the edge of the bed and lifts it effortlessly! Setting the bed back down gently he tries lifting other things only to get the same result, he has super strength. Excited he flies over to his parent's room so he can tell them he got his powers.
"Dad! Mom! Wake up, wake up I got my powers!" He says excitedly, waiting to see how his parents react to the news. His Dad instantly got up surprise written all over his at seeing his son flying.
"That's great son! I didn't expect you to get your powers so soon. From the looks of it, you seem to be a natural flyer!" He was surprised that his son got his powers at such a young age since most Villtrumites unlock their powers in their teen years. Seeing his son flying so easily made him think his son was a prodigy.
"That's amazing honey. I'm happy you got your powers." Seeing her son brought her so much joy. Seeing the happens on his face warmed her heart. Thinking about her 4-year-old son, Mark, she wondered If he would also get his powers at the same age Marcus got them.
"So I'm gonna be like you Dad? Be a hero and kick villain butt. Will I get a costume like yours?" He had so many questions, that his dad wasn't able to answer any one of them. He was just excited about becoming a hero like his dad.
"Listen son let me freshen up and then I can answer your questions. Also, meet me outside and we'll go somewhere to train your powers." That got Marcus excited. Being trained by one of the greatest no the best superhero ever was a dream come true.
Five minutes later they were both outside with his father answering some of his questions. "Listen son these powers you have probably make you feel invincible but without training and learning how to control them, then you will make mistakes. Mistakes that wouldn't happen if you trained properly, that's why we'll train every day until I deem you ready."
"Alright, Dad I promise you I'll train till I'll be the best hero ever. I'll even be better than you!" He says with as much seriousness a 10-year-old could. This made his father smile proudly at his son, the thing he was worried about was how to explain to his son the truth about his mission here.
"Now follow me, we'll be flying." He says, watching his son flying with little to no struggle at all. Marcus quickly followed his dad and on the way, his Dad gave him advice on flying, after a while they came upon a large green field. "Your flying is good, better than most Viltrumites when they get their powers, so we won't be focusing on that. Right now I want you to punch me."
"Are you sure Dad? I don't want to hurt you in your old age." Marcus says jokingly, then flying at his father faster than a bullet he throws a punch only to his shock his Dad dodges it with ease. He quickly goes for another punch but his Dad dodges again. This goes on for a while until his dad catches his fist.
"It's good, but sloppy which is understandable since you've never fought before. But how about you try it a little more like this." Faster than he expected his Dad punched him so hard that he fell on the ground holding his chest in pain.
"Ahh that hurt oh God that hurt." His Dad looks at him concerned and sad. This makes him angry because he promised his Dad he'll train till he'll be the best and God dammit he'll be the best. Ignoring the pain he was feeling he lunges at his Dad. This shocked his Dad not expecting his son to get back up from a punch like that so he was unprepared for the punch he got to the face.
"Hahaha, nice one son! Now let's see what you got." He was proud of Marcus for his determination and the unexpected punch even though it didn't hurt him that much. After an hour of fighting Marcus looked tired he might faint any second now but his son continued pushing himself.
"Okay, son that's enough now. We should head back home we wouldn't want to worry your mother." Looking at his son's haggard state he knew Debbie would scold him about why Marcus was in the state he was in.
Flying was something that made Marcus relax and feel free. Plus, he can already feel his bruises healing at an extraordinary rate. Soon they were back home and already he could see his mother outside waiting for them and they landed gently.
"Marcus! What happened to you?! Nolan, I told you not to push him too hard!" She worriedly says and even though she knows Viltrumites heal faster she still worries for her son.
"It's fine Debbie the boy was amazing today. Honestly, I'd say he's a prodigy and I can see him becoming an incredible hero in the future. And I promise you I'll make sure he's okay when we train." Nolan was surprised at how fast his son progressed in just one day. He can see becoming strong in just a few years.
"Alright, but you better be careful when you train him, Nolan. I don't want my son coming home bruised every day because you went too. Now come on let's go and eat I made your favorite Marcus." She says, although she relaxes a bit knowing her husband will make sure her son is okay. They go inside and after getting the family have an amazing time together not knowing the danger they would face in the future.
