Capítulo 118: Making a Choice

"Patrick. How is Patrick?" Lily asked the masked man, fear evident in her voice.

"You'll get news of your brother soon." The man said, dismissively.

"I'll love to see him, even if it is from afar." She pleaded.

The man only stared at her, "when next you come calling, I'll make arrangements for you to see him. You should go now, before your absence is noticed.

"Also, make sure to bring Aurora with you the next time you come calling." Lily nodded as she went out of the office with wobbly legs.

She kept walking till she left the building. Once she got to a safe distance, she put her hands on her knees and breathed the fresh air hungrily.

She wiped the silent tears that had fallen down her cheeks earlier. She hit her chest to relief the pain and anguish deposited there.
