Capítulo 51: Underground Cell

"Alpha Steve, you have to spare my family. They know nothing about this. I brought this upon them, please just spare them and punish me as you like. Please don't let me die of guilt. If my children and husband get punished for what I did, I can't live with the guilt. Please, I beg you, sir!" Selene yelled, pleadingly at his retreating steps. 

"Ha, I brought doom upon my family. Ha, moon goddess! I have implicated my family now. I cannot live with the guilt. I'd rather die." She wept bitterly. 

"Don't say that, Selene. You didn't bring doom to our family. You only fell in the enemies' trap. So far we are innocent, we will get out of this trap! I promise you. We are going to be vindicated!" Matthew assured his wife, even though he was skeptical about how it was going to happen. But he cannot lose his family to this scheme.
