After a few months ~~

Maverick wiped Valencia's hands as she looked at Alfonso in pure anger.

"Maverick, you have to believe me. I didn't do anything at all. She was the one who wanted to train. I was just stopping her. Heck, she even grabbed a sword. Don't believe her innocent eyes. She dropped the sword and soiled her hands as soon as she felt your presence," Alfonso complained like a kid being wronged.

Maverick sighed and kept wiping the soil from Valencia's hand. She was heavily pregnant, and he didn't want to trouble her.

"Is it okay?" He asked, ignoring his brother.

"Mmm. Thank you. Can you warm some milk for me?" Valencia acted docile, and Maverick felt his lips twitch at her innocent act.

"Sure," He stood from his place and shook his head at his brother.
